Last year when no one would stand up for Kyle, one Christian from the Midwest stepped up to pay his bail ($2,000,000) so that Kyle could finally go home to be with his mother

Right on.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's time I finally buy a My Pillow.
I got some a while back... they're ok... I do like the fact you can wash them in your machine. The 'free' travel sized pillow is what I use the most!
DeleteYup.
Deleteyou can wash them in your machine.
DeleteNever heard of that and thanks.
The measure of a man is that he walks the walk. Michael J. Lindell has shown who he is.
ReplyDeleteHow is that bail not excessive and a violation of Kyle Rittenhouse's civil rights protected under the Eighth Amendment?
Off to court we go to collect millions, I hope.
DeleteMerriam-Webster's Dictionary should include that photo at the definition of the word patriot.
ReplyDeleteFat chance.
DeleteI hope Lindell was refunded his bail money when Kyle was acquitted. Bail is not "paid," it's posted -- and is only a guaranty that the accused will return to stand trial. If Lindell didn't get it back on the instant, the government of Wisconsin owes him big time.
ReplyDeleteYes and I believe the bail bondsman charges 10%.
DeleteIt seems various people contributed to Rittenhouse's bail now
ReplyDeletethe fight is on for the money. It all comes back to the money:

Bond money raised because the defendant can't raise it themselves or get it guaranteed from a bondsman, is returned to whoever raises it. That's the law, as seamy as it is. Kind of a charity racket
DeleteIsn't this correct?
Thanks.https://freenorthcarolina.blogspot.com/2021/11/kyle-rittenhouses-next-legal-fight-teen.html
DeleteYes, it is a charity. He's lucky people cared enough to
Deletedonate money for his release or he could have rotted in
jail and taken chances on his very survival. If I had
donated a few thousand to the cause, I would want my money
back. I'm sure all the donations are well documented.
The money is not for him to enjoy, it was for his compassionate release. What I understand, he nor his
family have no financial stake in the money.

Same here, I guess there is misinformation in the article.
