I can't believe anyone would have such a device in their home. They hear everything. We were at my in-laws and my wife was speaking and Alexa chimed in and said "that's not true".
I visit elderly shut-ins. One old gal was watching televisionprogramming while I was fussing in the kitchen. Some insulting foolishness came on the televisionprogramming, and from the kitchen, I quietly grumbled "Alexi, where is my head!" . The old gal does not own a alexi gizmo... ...so we were surprised to hear her Kindle reader, across the room and under a blanket, answer "Your head is on your shoulders."
That is scary, but, not unexpected. Kinda wish I had access to an American Alexis to ask the same question.
