Police: Man doused with gasoline, set on fire in vacant lot

Via  Michael & NC Renegade

Prior arrests meant Memphis police already had mug shots on file for 26-year-old Robert Glasper and 19-year-old Renard King.

A Memphis man remains in the hospital at the burn unit after police say he was set on fire.

Authorities identified two suspects wanted for the crime.

Police say the man suffered injuries to most of his body.

Prior arrests meant Memphis police already had mug shots on file for 26-year-old Robert Glasper and 19-year-old Renard King. Police identified the two Thursday for allegedly being responsible for a horrific crime two weeks ago.

It happened in the 700 block of Glankler Street. A man was doused with gasoline and set on fire in a vacant lot behind an abandoned house.

Neighbor Robert Pearson could not recall the victim's name but remembers his screams.

"He was in the weeds. And I just came home from getting groceries. He was over there hollering, his skin peeling off," said Pearson.

Pearson had no clue who committed the crime, but said the devil himself would not deserve such treatment.

School Has Bus Hijacking Drill, Doesn’t Tell Students

Ever-Present Terror: School Has Bus Hijacking Drill, Doesn’t Tell Students

A SWAT training exercise that took place in Rossford, Ohio, last week appears to be just the latest example of the state working to familiarize American citizens with terror and heavy-handed police-state response.

Students on a bus en route to a local school were terrified when a man stood up and proceeded to hijack the vehicle. The hijacker, carrying what appeared to be a functional firearm, tied up some of the students and told them to keep their heads down.

The bus was rerouted to a local emergency management facility where it was stormed by first responders and SWAT teams.

Fundraiser to be held tomorrow for oath-keeping Florida sheriff

Via LH

A coalition of citizens and liberty-minded peace officers will gather tomorrow in Panama City, Fla., to raise money in support of Liberty County Sheriff Nick Finch, removed from office by Gov. Rick Scott, and now under investigation by the state for alleged destruction of documents in a case where he dismissed charges against a man arrested with a gun in a traffic stop.

“The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association is proud to announce that we are wholeheartedly supporting and endorsing … Sheriff Nick Finch for his courageous stand for liberty and the right of the people to keep and bear arms as guaranteed in the U.S. and Florida

Constitutions,” retired sheriff, author, lecturer and CSPOA founder and president Richard Mack announced on the group’s website. “Sheriff Finch’s actions to nullify the arrest of a citizen in his county stand as a shining example of a constitutional Sheriff doing his duty and keeping his oath to protect, preserve, and defend the God-given rights we as all Americans are supposed to enjoy.”

Disney brings lesbian moms to TV: 'Gay' spouses flaunted to young fans of hit show

In a move that’s being described as chasing “the whims of political correctness,” the Disney Channel reportedly will feature a “married” lesbian couple on a popular kids sitcom in the coming season.

“It’s a disappointment to millions of Americans that Disney would choose to become a groundbreaker in immorality,” commented Mediaguide, the organization headed by Christian media critic Ted Baehr. “New concepts of morality have had a very negative impact on marriage, families, and children.”

Mediaguide said that instead of “becoming a leader in political correctness, we encourage Disney to hold on to their title as the leader in good, fun and wholesome.”

TV Guide reports the lesbian characters will appear on an episode of “Good Luck Charlie.”

"Every Hindu in Pakistan is bearing atrocities, girls are kidnapped and forcibly converted but now, Hindu boys are being made to embrace Islam"

"There is no compulsion in religion," says the Qur'an (2:256), as Islamic apologists in the West endlessly remind us, but what exactly constitutes compulsion for many Islamic supremacists is not what Westerners assume. Even in the Qur'an itself, Muslims are directed to exact a tax (jizya) from the subjugated "People of the Book," i.e., primarily Jews and Christians, and make sure that they "feel themselves subdued," which has been taken in Islamic law as the impetus for a whole complex of humiliating and discriminatory regulations that deny them basic rights. They can free themselves from all this humiliation, discrimination and harassment simply by converting to Islam -- yet even this is not considered to be "compulsion in religion."

"'Hindu men being forced to embrace Islam in Pak,'" from the Times of India, August 14 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

ATTARI: The news of forcible conversion of Hindu girls in Pakistan by fundamental Muslims are often heard, but now a Pak Hindu couple has alleged that even Hindu men are forced to embrace Islam.

"Hindu boys are threatened of dire consequences, Hindu businessmen are not allowed to conduct their business or open shops and are pressurized to embrace Islam," said Pakistani couple Anil Kumar and Poonam, who "migrated" to India on Tuesday leaving behind their business and family members on the mercy of fundamentalists. Carrying handful of their luggage, the couple started crying as they crossed the Radcliff Line on foot and reached India.

After 67 weeks as No. 1, Christian documentary eclipsed by tribute to Muhammad

“The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment,” a documentary of the phenomenal teaching of messianic rabbi Jonathan Cahn about America following ancient Israel in the footsteps of judgment, has been eclipsed after 67 weeks as the No. 1 faith movie or TV show in the country – by a documentary that hails “The Life of Muhammad.”

Joseph Farah, the producer of “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment,” said he knew the movie couldn’t possibly occupy the No. 1 spot on Amazon.com forever, but he’s shocked that a “pseudo-documentary about the life of Muhammad could be become the most purchased faith movie in America just 12 years after 9/11.”

“It’s revolting,” Farah said, “not that Isaiah was knocked out of the top spot after 67 weeks, but that it could be replaced by a movie that so distorts the twisted, murderous life of a megalomaniacal hate monger, oppressor of women and genocidal fiend whose teachings inspired the worst attack on American soil in the country’s history.”
