Surprise! Barry Soetoro Voter Registration FOIA Request Denied By DC Election Board

A few weeks ago we reported a bizarre story about Barry Soetoro being registered to vote in Washington D.C. Soetoro was registered with a White House address and had Barack Obama’s August 4, 1961 birthdate. We know that the birthdate was the same because that information was required to do a search.

Before I go on. For those of you who are not aware, Barry Soetoro is Barack Obama. The Soetoro name was taken from his adopted father while the young Barack was in Indonesia. And now that I’ve cleared that up… There are those in the blogging community who were not willing to accept the fact that the registration was removed a few days after being discovered. They wanted answers and rightfully so. Sonoran News, who originally broke the story, sent a Freedom of Information Act request to attempt to get those answers. Linda Bentley reports:

Unbelievable: Military teaches colonists were 'extremists': Training documents say discussing liberty also a dangerous sign

 Colonists2

The die is cast.  There is only one way out of this, as our institutions have been thoroughly infiltrated by Marxists.

The colonists who came to the New World and built the foundations of what now is the United States were “extremists,” and discussions that include mention of “individual liberties” are a dangerous sign, according to the U.S. government.

The education materials that originate with the Department of Defense depict conservative organizations as “hate groups” and cite the Southern Poverty Law Center, which was named in a federal court case for having identified the Family Research Council as a “hate group” simply for adhering to a biblical perspective on homosexuality.

That identification, by his own account, led Floyd Lee Corkins II to arm himself and enter the FRC offices in Washington with the intention of killing as many people as he could.

The documents were obtained by Judicial Watch, the government corruption monitor.

JW said it obtained the records under a Freedom of Information Act request that was launched months ago. The request asked for records “concerning, regarding, or related to the preparation and presentation of training materials on hate groups or hate crimes distributed or used by the Air Force.”
The 133 pages make up a January “Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute” “student guide” called “extremism.”

For example, it warns: “Nowadays, instead of dressing in sheets or publically (sic) espousing hate messages, many extremists will talk of individual liberties, states’ rights, and how to make the world a better place.”

And it adds: “In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.”

The 9/11 attacks by Muslims who killed nearly 3,000 people are called a “historical event.”

Justice sues Texas over voter ID law

he Justice Department said Thursday that it will sue Texas over its voter ID law and, separately, look for ways to intervene in a lawsuit over the state’s redistricting policies -- in the latest volley in the ongoing dispute between the feds and the Lone Star State.

Texas Gov. Rick Perry, in a brief written statement, blasted the move and said Texas would continue to defend "the integrity of our elections."

"The filing of endless litigation in an effort to obstruct the will of the people of Texas is what we have come to expect from Attorney General Eric Holder and President Obama," Perry said.

 John Jenkins

Investigators have released a the 911 recordings from the shooting spree in Craven County Tuesday afternoon.

According to District Attorney Scott Thomas, 38-year-old Angelo Tavares Williams and 41-year-old Brian Lee Holden were trimming trees at 2115 Streets Ferry Road near Vanceboro Tuesday afternoon. That was when the alleged gunman, 82-year-old John Aites Jenkins (above), of River Road in Vanceboro, approached in a pickup truck, investigators said.

Jenkins then pulled out a shotgun and fired at the two men at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, said authorities. Williams was hit in his face and Holden was hit in his mid-torso. Jenkins also allegedly shot Holden with a revolver.

Afterwards, Jenkins drove to another location on Streets Ferry Road, where two bucket trucks were located, and fired shots at the workers in the buckets, authorities said. Those workers were not hit.

Private Property Is the Essence of Liberty

 Paul, Ron
Editor’s Note:

Ron Paul, Distinguished Counselor to the Mises Institute, and a founding member, celebrated his 78th birthday this week. In this selection from a speech in the House of Representatives in 1999, Ron Paul outlines why private property and privacy are essential to the preservation of civil liberties. It is perhaps noteworthy that this speech was delivered before the creation of the Department of Homeland Security and before the Patriot Act, FATCA, “Know Your Customer,” warrantless wiretapping, and similar regulatory and legislative developments since 2001.

This selection is taken from chapter 10 of A Foreign Policy of Freedom by Ron Paul, available in both print and ebook editions at the Mises Store.

Privacy is the essence of liberty. Without it, individual rights cannot exist. Privacy and property are interlocked. If both were protected, little would need to be said about other civil liberties. If one’s home, church or business is one’s castle, and the privacy of one’s person, papers and effects are rigidly protected, all rights desired in a free society will be guaranteed. Diligently protecting the right to privacy and property guarantees religious, journalistic and political experience, as well as a free market economy and sound money. Once a careless attitude emerges with respect to privacy, all other rights are jeopardized.

Today we find a systematic and pervasive attack on the privacy of American citizens, which undermines the principle of private property ownership. Understanding why the attack on privacy is rapidly expanding and recognizing a need to reverse this trend are necessary if our Republic is to survive.

How Oberlin Manufactured the Hate-Crime Hoax of the Year

Busted. Stone-cold busted. Just as I suspected, "progressive" pranksters at Oberlin College have been definitively unmasked as the perpetrators of phony campus "hate crimes" that scored international headlines in March. The blabbermouth academic administrators who helped fuel the hysteria are now running for cover.

The Associated Press, The New York Times, MSNBC, Yahoo News and the Huffington Post were among the media outlets that trumpeted the story of supposed racism, homophobia and anti-Semitism run amok at my alma mater. Throughout the winter, anti-black and anti-gay graffiti, swastikas, and a shadowy figure in a "KKK hood" surfaced on the tiny campus outside Cleveland, Ohio. Black Entertainment Television News decried the hate outbreaks and "KKK sighting."

Because of my firsthand knowledge of Oberlin's long history of self-manufactured hate-crime incidents, the fake-hate-crime alarm bells went off immediately for me when I read the reports. Back in the 1990s, race-obsessed nutballs at Oberlin College cooked up a horrid hate-crime hoax. Asian-American students claimed that a phantom racist had spray-painted anti-Asian racial epithets on a campus landmark rock. It turned out that it was a warped Asian-American student who perpetrated the dirty deed.

Zimmerman is even more of a target now. He should probably have protection 24 7. Check it out:
George Zimmerman is reportedly still interested in gun shopping. Zimmerman was spotted at Kel-Tec, a gun manufacturing company in Cocoa, Fla., Thursday, according to TMZ. Sources told the Hollywood tabloid that Zimmerman was asking questions about the Kel-Tec KSG, a tactical shotgun often used for home defense that holds 12 rounds of 12 gauge shells.

California Students Forced to Kneel Before Principal

Claiming it was a "safety policy," California elementary public school principal Dana Carter instituted a policy that required his students to "kneel down on one knee and wait for the principal or another administrator to dismiss them." One parent claimed that her daughter was forced to kneel before the principal "like a king" with her hands at her side until Carter came out, lifted his arms, and told students to go to class.
