Pentagon training manual: white males have unfair advantages
Via Dan
“Simply put, a healthy, white, heterosexual, Christian male receives many unearned advantages of social privilege, whereas a black, homosexual, atheist female in poor health receives many unearned disadvantages of social privilege,” reads a statement in the manual created by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI).
The manual, which was obtained by Fox News, also instructs troops to “support the leadership of people of color. Do this consistently, but not uncritically,” the manual states.
"Another war is coming!"
A controversial 600-plus page manual used by the military to train its Equal Opportunity officers teaches that "healthy, white, heterosexual, Christian" men hold an unfair advantage over other races, and warns in great detail about a so-called "White Male Club."“Simply put, a healthy, white, heterosexual, Christian male receives many unearned advantages of social privilege, whereas a black, homosexual, atheist female in poor health receives many unearned disadvantages of social privilege,” reads a statement in the manual created by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI).

The Clintonian Halloween Candy Nazi of Fargo
Fargo, North Dakota—land of funny accents, hapless husbands’ disastrously staged kidnappings, and Halloween candy Nazis.
“Happy Halloween and Happy Holidays Neighbor!” opens the letter written by a Fargo woman going by the name Cheryl. Cheryl plans on handing out copies of this letter to trick-or-treaters she judges to be fat.
Right off the bat you can tell she’s a liberal because she threw in “Happy Holidays,” even though it’s only Halloween. She doesn’t want to offend the Wiccan children, evidently. (On second thought, perhaps it is merely a matter of safety not to offend the children of witches.)
The letter continues: “You are probably wondering why your child has this note; have you ever heard the saying, ‘It takes a village to raise a child’?”
I’ve heard that saying. It’s an old proverb originating from the collectivist minds of African tribesmen, made fashionable by communist Hillary Clinton in her 1996 book, and advocated creepily this past spring in a TV spot for MSNBC in which Melissa Harris-Perry told the public in no uncertain terms that your children, sprung from your loins, belong to everybody.
“I am disappointed in ‘the Village’ of Fargo Moorhead, West Fargo,” writes Cheryl the creepy neighbor. “You [sic] child is, in my opinion, moderately obese and should not be consuming sugar and treats to the extent of some children this Halloween season.”

HSLDA:The polls are tightening towards Ken Cuccinelliand the race is going to come down to which side can get their political base out to vote.
Thank You for your incredible generosity!
On occasion, I am absolutely floored by the outpouring of support for Generation Joshua’s homeschool students. This last week has been one of those times.
Last week, I asked you to consider supporting Generation Joshua, through the HSLDA VA PAC, in its efforts to elect Ken Cuccinelli, a homeschool dad, to become the next Governor of Virginia. As you know, we help equip and educate thousands of homeschool students every year by giving them hands on experience in citizen advocacy. This investment pays long term dividends by equipping the next generation of Americans as citizens, as well as electing a good man to office.
As a result of your incredible efforts, we have raised over $250,000.00 since last week.
I am humbled by your generosity and inspired by your dedication. I did not think it was possible, but your commitment to the next generation and to liberty has left me speechless.
Earlier this week, we had several GenJ students ask us how much money we still needed. We told them that we needed roughly $10K, and they decided to raise it here. I want to recognize their efforts. That sort of can do, never-give-up attitude is what makes Generation Joshua’s students so incredible!
We’ve crunched the numbers to determine a more precise amount, and we still need $13,764.97 (as of writing). If you want to partner with us in this great effort, we would greatly appreciate it. You can donate at www.hslda.org/vapac.
The polls are tightening and the race is going to come down to which side can get their political base out to vote. Generation Joshua has the well-deserved reputation of being the best conservative get-out-the-vote operation in the nation, and it is needed now. As hundreds of students move into this operation, I ask you lift them (and our administrative staff) up in your prayers. We can’t win the ground game of politics without God’s blessing on these efforts. Please pray for us throughout the next five days. We need it.
Sincerely,
Joel Grewe
Director of Generation Joshua

Motorcycle chased down highway by elk in rut
Via Patriot Outdoor News
On Sunday, October 3rd, my boyfriend Glen and I decided to take a ride from Missoula, MT Ovando, MT. On our way back, we headed south on hwy 200. I was looking around at the gorgeous scenery when Glen started to slow down as he saw a truck stopped in front of us. We stopped behind the truck and saw a bull elk approach the truck. The person in the truck must have had some food because the elk jumped up on his hind legs and peered in to the drivers window. (I have that on video as well)
Then the elk jumped down and started to approach us. There were two actually. One was a bit smaller and had different looking antlers. I am not much of a hunter so I don't know why they appeared different than the other. I was surprised that the elk came so close to us and I could feel a great deal of tension between us and the animal. I am willing to bet that if Glen hadn't hit the throttle when he had, that elk would have jumped up on us. The elk chased us for a while and I don't know when he would have stopped hadn't I told Glen to lose it. I didn't want the animal to chase us on the road and put it in any danger so losing it seemed appropriate. I had enough excitement for one day!

Justice Alito: Self-Defense Is ‘The Central Component’ Of The 2nd Amendment
With the war against self-defense currently being waged via the Democrat-led attack on “Stand Your Ground” laws, it’s important to revisit Associate Justice Samuel Alito’s words from McDonald v Chicago (2010): “Individual self-defense is ‘the central component’ of the 2nd Amendment right.”

Man Opens Fire on Wis. Duck Hunters
Two hunters looking for ducks found trouble instead.
The harrowing hunting story happened in Barron County in Western Wisconsin. Two men were shot at numerous times while hunting legally, and the man who opened fire is facing minor charges.
Now, both sides are telling their stories.
It's the heart of duck hunting season. On Sunday, a marsh looked perfect for outdoorsman, "we knew it was going to be a great day, it started out good."
Yet within minutes of shooting two mallards the hunters became the hunted.
A stranger lurking in the nearby woods, got mouthy, "he went off on a
rant about how we shouldn't be here, we should be in Afghanistan if we
were gonna shoot something," says Levi Johnston.

Head of Congressional Intelligence Committee: “You Can’t Have Your Privacy Violated If You Don’t KNOW Your Privacy Is Violated”
Via David
Constitutional expert Stephen I. Vladeck – Professor of Law and the Associate Dean for Scholarship at American University Washington College of Law – disagreed.
Here’s the exchange:
Rogers: I would argue the fact that we haven’t had any complaints come forward with any specificity arguing that their privacy has been violated, clearly indicates, in ten years, clearly indicates that something must be doing right. Somebody must be doing something exactly right.
Vladeck: But who would be complaining?
Rogers: Somebody who’s privacy was violated. You can’t have your privacy violated if you don’t know your privacy is violated.
Vladeck: I disagree with that. If a tree falls in the forest, it makes a noise whether you’re there to see it or not.
Argues Spying Okay As Long As Government Doesn’t Get Caught
