The bleeding edge of America's race war

Via David

As a former prison chaplain, I've long argued that the real racial problem in America isn't white-versus-black or vice versa:  it's Black-versus-Hispanic or Hispanic-versus-Black. Now an article in Taki's Magazine begins to tell it like it is.
I can only guess that the reason you don’t hear much about black-versus-Hispanic violence in America is that you’re not supposed to hear much about it. It’s the sort of thing that swims upstream against the dominant narrative with the tenacity of a thuggish, heavily tattooed salmon. In the nation’s fevered movie dreams about racial violence, it’s white people (and only white people) who go about thrashing nonwhites (and only nonwhites).
But in cities across the country—most notably, Los Angeles—one group of nonwhites is engaged in a prolonged, grinding, violent turf war with another group of nonwhites—and that’s something which is clearly NOT in the script. So it’s best for the crafty screenwriters to convince the dimwitted moviegoers that it’s not happening; failing that, they’ll squirm for a way to blame white people, anyway.

Los Federales Crack Down On Chinese Birthing Houses

Airfare from the U.S. to China and a months-long stay in an Orange County, Calif., apartment:
$80,000. A baby born a U.S. citizen: priceless.

In the largest operation of its kind, early Tuesday morning federal officials in Southern California served warrants at “Chinese birthing houses” or “maternity hotels,” where wealthy Chinese nationals paid up to $80,000 for the sole purpose of giving birth in the U.S. to obtain citizenship for their children, earning in-state tuition to U.S. universities for them and permanent U.S. residency for the parents.

“It is essentially citizenship for sale,” said Center for Immigration Studies analyst Jessica Vaughan. “Something U.S. citizens hold very dear and cherish is essentially being purchased by people for their own economic self-interests or potentially more nefarious purposes.”

Holder Frames Ferguson PD For Racism Using Bogus 'Disparate Impact' Stats

http://moralmatters.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/RacistsObamaJacksonHolderSharpton.jpg

Racial Politics: Unable to pin racism charges on Ferguson policeman Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown, Attorney General Eric Holder is using half-baked data to manufacture a case of racism against his entire police force.

Holder's race-baiting civil rights crew combed through several years of Ferguson Police Department data on traffic stops, searches and arrests and "found a pattern of racial disparities in Ferguson's police activities."

"African Americans are overrepresented in FPD's vehicular stops" and victims of "racial bias," Holder concludes in his report.

He notes that blacks accounted for 85% of vehicle stops, "despite comprising only 67% of Ferguson's population," while whites made up 15% of stops, despite representing 29% of the population.
So there you have it, a slam-dunk case of racism, right? Hardly.

Hillary Clinton’s very bad email week gets worse

is hillary honest chart

Hillary’s midnight tweet may have earned some headlines that spared her from awkward questions about her e-mail habits, but judging by the way this story has simply refused to die, I think we can be sure that it won’t be going away any time soon.

Under fire, the State Department has agreed to release Clinton’s e-mails, but officials are now saying that the process could take months:

NC: Gold Mine: Hillary Clinton’s Brother Granted Super-Rare Mining Permit from Haiti After State Dept. Sent Country Billions

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s brother, Tony Rodham, sat on the board of a self-described mining company that in 2012 received one of only two “gold exploitation permits” from the Haitian government—the first issued in over 50 years.

The tiny North Carolina company, VCS Mining, also included on its board Bill Clinton’s co-chair of the Interim Haiti Recovery Commission (IHRC), former Haitian Prime Minister Jean-Max Bellerive.

So on my way home, I stopped at the Post Office in a very small town to check the P.O. Box.  I stop about twice a week to check on it.

As is Federal Law, I disarm, leaving my carry gun locked in the car (or truck). I believe the requirement that I disarm to get my mail is illegal and unconstitutional, but the courts disagree, so I follow the law.

As I am coming into the Post Office, my holster empty (and coat pulled over it) , I encounter the Chief of Police of that small town. He is in civilian clothes and I realized that the car I had parked next to in the lot was his personal car. I smile and raise my hand in greeting.

He looks at me and says "Hi", and then waits while I fish out my key and open the mailbox. I retrieve my mail and then turn to see what he wants...

Now this Cop is, actually, generally a decent sort. He does his job, seldom has an attitude, and is a decent guy most of the time... I have interacted with him several times over the years. His officers use our range twice a year to practice and before their certification testing (which is another good story for another time). He knows I carry, and have a permit.

"Got a question for ya, B" he says. "Do you carry here in the Post Office?"

Girl Coders, Patriarchy, and Despair: More Social Engineering

Do these look to you like prospective programmers? Like people who could tell a branch instruction from a duckbill platypus?

At something called the Harvard Gazette, apparently a literary asylum for ed-majors, sociologists, and the mildly brain-damaged, the female inmates are riled because there are not enough girls in computer science. Yes, discrimination. Their eyes agleam with the dull light of incomprehension, they moo, “When you make computer science about creative problem-solving, when you make it social, when it’s not scary and intimidating, and when you show people who look like real human beings rather than people who’ve been stuck in a basement …more girls will be attracted to it.”

Oh god, oh god, oh god. We’re going backwards. I told you Darwin was wrong. Gerbils to the right, gerbils to the left, and not a thought to think.

Flashback: In 2007 speech, Obama credited 1965 Selma march for inspiring his birth — in 1961

Today is the seventh anniversary of Barack Obama’s 2007 speech from the civil rights scene of Selma, Alabama. Many conservatives remember Hillary Clinton’s patronizing black-speak “I don't feel no ways tired” recitation from black minister James Cleveland.

But Obama’s Selma speech shamelessly invented his life story, and the media failed to call him on it. It was an early signal that honesty and accuracy were not high on the media’s list of values in that campaign.

In his book Barack Obama: The Story, Washington Post reporter-editor David Maraniss reported that Obama’s account of being separated from his father when he was two was “received myth, not the truth.” Maraniss explained Obama’s father was “married in name only. Within a month of the day Barry came home from the hospital, he and his mother were long gone from Honolulu,” as Ann Dunham returned to the mainland to attend the University of Washington.
