Angry Democrats and an embarrassed Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco,
Firearms and Explosives are poised to launch a renewed assault on the 2nd Amendment.
Conservatives and 2nd
Amendment advocates rejoiced earlier this month when the ATF opted to
rethink a proposed ban on popular AR-15 ammunition and current Director
B. Todd Jones announced his resignation. But new threats to gun rights
are emerging as congressional Democrats vow new ammo regulations and
increased anti-gun pressure on incoming ATF Director Thomas Brandon.
The next explosion of illegal teen
border crossing is in full swing, but just one-in-six are being sent
home, with most of the rest settled in the United States, according to
new government figures.
The U.S. Border Patrol agency reported that they have seized 12,509 illegals
under age 18 since October, making it the second biggest surge in
history after last year's unprecedented movement of unaccompanied youths
across the nation's southern border.
However, when compared to the
numbers of illegal kids turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs
Enforcement, it is clear that most are being "booked in" to U.S.
facilities and then released — not sent home.

North Korea cheered this month when a man with a knife and a history of
violent behavior slashed the face of Mark Lippert, the U.S. ambassador
to South Korea. The attack in Seoul was “a knife shower of justice,”
North Korea said, praising it as “deserved punishment for warmonger
United States.”
If that sounds mean-spirited, consider this: For years, North Korea has
taught schoolchildren to bayonet effigies of U.S. soldiers. Under its
young dictator, Kim Jong Un, the government has suggested it was
prepared to nuke Washington; Austin, Texas; and Southern California.
More than 40 years ago, Kim Il Sung, the “Great Leader” who founded the
family dictatorship that rules North Korea, said there was “no secret”
about his country’s behavior: “What is most important in our
preparations [for war] is to educate all the people to hate U.S.
imperialism.”
Where does the hate come from?
Much of it is cooked up daily in Pyongyang. Like all dictatorial
regimes, the Kim family dynasty needs an endless existential struggle
against a fearsome enemy. Such a threat rationalizes massive military
spending and excuses decades of privation, while keeping dissenting
mouths shut and political prisons open.
The hate, though, is not all manufactured. It is rooted in a fact-based narrative, one that North Korea obsessively remembers and the United States blithely forgets.

Some
sort of tipping point seems to have been reached, with Sunday morning
brunch patrons no longer willing to sit passively as noisy protesters
attempt to guilt-trip them about being white, or having the disposable
income to go out for a nice brunch, or something (in my view, mostly
anger about being such losers). Gateway Pundit reports on the pushback
in Atlanta and Minneapolis eateries yesterday. In Atlanta:

Brunch protesters invaded several Decatur, Georgia restaurants on
Sunday. Protesters report two establishments called police, with
managers from Sweet Melissa’s trying unsuccessfully to throw them out.
“Sweet Melissa’s staff attempts to get out #BlackBrunchATL, calls cops. @Ellevation_ like: “don’t touch me!””
Some customers at Sweet Melissa’s reportedly pushed and talked back against the protes “#BlackBrunchATL received a number of threats/shoves at Sweet Melissa’s. “Our breakfast matters” erupted from a table.”
One
white man sitting at a table with Black friends was filmed vocally
objecting to the protest, repeatedly saying, “You’re stirring up
conflict”, and at one point telling the protesters to “go home”.
The move to a cashless society won’t happen overnight. Instead, it
is being implemented very slowly and systematically in a series of
incremental steps. All over the planet, governments are starting to
place restrictions on the use of cash for security reasons. As
citizens, we are being told that this is being done to thwart criminals,
terrorists, drug runners, money launderers and tax evaders. Other
forms of payment are much easier for governments to track, and so they
very much prefer them. But we are rapidly getting to the point where
the use of cash is considered to be a “suspicious activity” all by
itself.
These days, if you pay a hotel bill with cash or if you pay for
several hundred dollars worth of goods at a store with cash you are
probably going to get looked at funny. You see, the truth is that we
have already been trained to regard the use of large amounts of cash to
be unusual. The next step will be to formally ban large cash
transactions like France and other countries in Europe are already
doing.

London - Anti-Semitic Attackers Yelling 'We Will Kill You' Storm Synagogue in Stamford Hill MORE http://www.4yiddish.com/

- A group of approximately 20 youths attacked a local synagogue in the
London suburb of Stamford Hill over the weekend, yelling threats,
beating worshipers and vandalizing property, according to
IsraelHatzolah’s official twitter account.
One witness belonging
to the “Ahavat Torah” congregation described the mob as shouting “we
will kill you” as they proceeded to physically assault the worshipers
inside the synagogue and tear apart prayer books.
Another Jewish
local who had passed by the scene rushed inside, grabbing one of the
suspects with the intention of bringing him to the police, but was
quickly overwhelmed by the other attackers and suffered strikes to the
face, losing a tooth.
Police confirmed that they were treating
the attack as an anti-Semitic incident. Police were called to the scene
early on Sunday morning, just after 1 a.m. local time, when a group of
intoxicated men, believed to have come from a nearby party, tried to
gain entry into the synagogue.
One man suffered injuries while
trying to prevent the men from entering. Some of the group did succeed
in entering, eventually being removed by security staff.
Six men were arrested for disturbing public order and assault.
Police said that they had increased patrols in the area in order to provide reassurance to the community.
The
assault on the north London synagogue comes days before the opening of a
hotline dedicated to providing advice and support to victims of
anti-Semitism.
According to the CST, a charity meant to monitor
and provide solutions to acts of anti-Jewish behavior in the UK, the
hotline, called the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism, is an answer to
numerous anti-Semitic incidents that have plagued Britain’s Jewish
community.
In February of 2014, the Community Security Trust
issued a report that showed the number of anti-Semitic incidents in the
UK more than doubling from 1,168.
Apart from physical violence
and damage to property, reports of anti-Semitism also included increased
internet based abuses such as hate speech on social media websites.
Close
to 150,000 of Britain’s estimated 286,000 Jews who live in and around
London saw a 137% increase in anti-Semetic incidents reaching 583.
Meanwhile
the second-largest Jewish center, Manchester, had a 79% rise to 309
incidents. The CST also noted anti-Semitic incidents in 89 other
locations around the UK.
Issue: (1) Whether the messages and images that appear
on state-issued specialty license plates qualify as government speech
immune from any requirement of viewpoint neutrality; and (2) whether
Texas engaged in “viewpoint discrimination” by rejecting the
license-plate design proposed by the Sons of Confederate Veterans, when
Texas has not issued any license plate that portrays the Confederacy or
the Confederate Battle Flag in a negative or critical light.
