A Strategic Case for Donald Trump

I have previously made the policy case for why I believe conservatives should support Donald Trump. Briefly, the two main pillars of Trump’s campaign, support for immigration restriction and opposition to global “free” trade deals, are conservative in effect and in the most basic sense of the term, contrary to the protests of some free enterprise uber alles “conservative” ideologues. Trump is actually attempting to conserve something concrete, the American nation state, from a post-national globalist elite. Imagine that.

On immigration in particular, I have argued that immigration should be the overwhelming issue of concern for conservatives because if current immigration trends are not halted, the country will turn irreversibly Blue at the national level in just a few more election cycles and the entire conservative agenda, to whatever degree, will be off the table. This is not a statement of political opinion. This is a rather simple math problem. As Anne Coulter has pointed out, post 1970 immigrants vote 8 to 2 for Democrats. Look at the current and projected demographics of the country and do the math. The whole conservative agenda rises or falls on successfully halting current immigration trends. And don’t be fooled by fantasy talk about Hispanics (or any other large immigrant group) being natural conservatives ripe for recruitment into the GOP fold. We have the survey data on this, and it simply is not true.

On Sunday, we learned that the man who stormed a Paris police station while waving a meat cleaver and donning a fake bomb vest once lived in a center for asylum seekers in Germany and may have ties to the wave of sexual assaults that occurred in Cologne on New Year’s Eve.

The revelations came just a day after some 1,700 people turned out for a PEGIDA rally where demonstrators waved anti-migrant banners and called for the ouster of Angela Merkel.

reports now indicate a rogue band of “bikers, hooligans and bouncers” organized a migrant “manhunt” on Facebook before attacking a group of Pakistanis in Cologne.
 

“Two young Pakistani men needed hospital treatment after being attacked by vigilante gangs hunting foreigners in Cologne in apparent revenge attacks for the mass sexual assaults on women on New Year’s Eve,” The Evening Standard reports, adding that “police said the first incident took place early yesterday evening when a group of about 20 men attacked six Pakistanis near the main station near the railway station where the New Year’s Eve attacks took place.”

“Shortly after the first attack, a similar incident unfolded when a 39-year-old Syrian national was assaulted by a group of five people,” Deutsche Welle adds. Here’s more:

Cologne tabloid "Express" reported on Monday that a group of "bikers, hooligans and bouncers" had used Facebook to plan a "human hunt" to "clean up" Cologne's city center. Early on Monday, a police spokesperson was unable to confirm the reports.

On Sunday afternoon, police had received tipoffs about "groups," which were "specifically looking for provocation," police said. Officers were deployed in the city center and Cologne's "Altstadt" quarter in large numbers. As the result of several identity checks, four people were briefly detained, reported a police spokesman. Whether they were among the attackers is yet to be determined. Two people also faced criminal charges.

Germans now live under anarcho-tyranny. When your government outlaws protests against foreign invaders who assault your daughters and sisters, consume the public purse and pollute the commons, then it's no longer your government or your laws. Europeans will either submit to the invaders, who are muscle for the governing elite, or they will explode. Let me repeat that penultimate part in case
you missed it:

the function of the foreign invaders is to serve as muscle for the governing elite against their own people.

Trump Could Win It All

A new survey shows a sizable number of Democrats ready to defect from Hillary Clinton to Donald Trump.

So if Donald Trump proved the political universe wrong and won the Republican presidential nomination, he would be creamed by Hillary Clinton, correct?

A new survey of likely voters might at least raise momentary dyspepsia for Democrats since it suggests why it wouldn't be a cakewalk.

The survey by Washington-based Mercury Analytics is a combination online questionnaire and "dial-test" of Trump's first big campaign ad among 916 self-proclaimed "likely voters" (this video shows the ad and the dial test results). It took place primarily Wednesday and Thursday and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percent.

Nearly 20 percent of likely Democratic voters say they'd cross sides and vote for Trump, while a small number, or 14 percent, of Republicans claim they'd vote for Clinton. When those groups were further broken down, a far higher percentage of the crossover Democrats contend they are "100 percent sure" of switching than the Republicans.

The President Who Fell From Grace

As easily as he slid into office with no qualifications for the post, Obama is falling from grace with fate and the voters. His dishonesty and incompetence are too patent. This week, no sooner had his relatively sparsely viewed presser ended and his clearly manufactured tears about gun violence dried, than his central argument -- that gun control, not fighting Islamic terrorism, should be our priority -- was exposed as nonsense. A thug, who had stolen a gun from a cop, used it in Philadelphia to try to assassinate a law enforcement officer. Echoing Obama Philadelphia’s Democratic Mayor declared Jim Kenney wasted no time in declaring “There are just too many guns on the streets and I think our national government needs to do something about that.”  

It’s hard to argue persuasively that only law enforcement officers should be armed when the gun used in the assassination attempt was stolen from one of the mayor's own law enforcement officers. Kenney dug himself in even deeper in Obama vaporous swill, contending that the crime had nothing to do with Moslems or Islam, “In no way, shape or form does anyone in this room believe that Islam or the teaching of Islam has anything to do with what you have seen on that screen.” Then he turned the presser over to Police Commissioner Richard Ross who directly contradicted the mayor’s fantastical account: He said the shooter confessed that he committed the act in the name of Islam and had pledged allegiance to ISIS.
