Towson University hosts presentation: ‘white people are a plague’

In Obama’s America, it is open season on whites.

White Americans now seem to have a “Kick Me” sign on their backs because bashing whites has become a popular sport, especially on college campuses.


Towson University is a public university located in Towson, Baltimore County, Maryland. Founded in 1866 as Maryland’s first training school for teachers, Towson still produces the most teachers of any university in the state.

Hypeline reports, May 13, 2016, that it received information from a former Towson University “SGA member” that a student presentation, “The historical ties between homophobia in communities of color and colonization,” claimed that “white people are a plague to the planet”.

Appeals Court: Second Amendment extends to gun stores

 

A federal appeals court said Monday in a California lawsuit that the Second Amendment right to bear arms extends to gun stores and requires governments to justify restrictions on them.

The ruling by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals came in a lawsuit against Alameda County by three men who wanted to open a gun store. They said a county ordinance that prohibits gun stores within 500 feet of a residential area violated the Second Amendment.

The 9th Circuit did not rule on the constitutionality of the 500-foot restriction, but it said the ordinance did involve the Second Amendment because the right to purchase and sell arms is “part and parcel of the historically recognized right to keep and to bear arms.”

The county, therefore, has to present evidence to justify the restriction and can’t simply assert that gun stores increase crime, 9th Circuit Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain said in the 2-1 decision.

“Alameda County’s ordinance may very well be permissible. Thus far, however, the county has failed to justify the burden it has placed on the right of law-abiding citizens to purchase guns,” O’Scannlain said.

Trump Is the Wind That Obama’s JV Presidency Hath Sown

 

A rare point of universal agreement in all this trenchant political acrimony: No matter what you think of Donald Trump, the political environment in which the flashy real estate mogul has so brilliantly thrived was created entirely by President Obama.

This explains the president’s truly bizarre performance during his graduation speech Sunday. The president is angry, he is defensive, he is spending his final months in office hopelessly trying to spin his failed presidency.

“In politics and in life, ignorance is not a virtue,” he said in a speech that was otherwise peppered with obvious references to Mr. Trump, who is already basically running against Mr. Obama’s third term, whoever the Democratic nominee will be.

“It’s not cool to not know what you are talking about,” he told the easy crowd. “That’s not keeping it real or telling it like it is, that’s not challenging political correctness. That’s just not knowing what you’re talking about.”

I’m sorry, what is the president talking about? His policy in Libya? His handling of the “JV” team that makes up the Islamic State terrorist group today? His cowardly mishandling of race relations in America? Or is he talking about his disastrously failed health care program? His hollow border policy that has — literally — killed innocent American citizens?

We must frankly face the fact that the front runners in both political parties represent a new low, at a time of domestic polarization and unprecedented nuclear dangers internationally. This year's general election will offer a choice between a thoroughly corrupt liar and an utterly irresponsible egomaniac.

The Republican establishment, whose serial betrayals of their supporters created the setting for a Donald Trump to arise, must now decide how best to deal with the apparent inevitability of his candidacy.

Choosing among various unpalatable options may require some tricky maneuvering on their part, but they have been used to tricky maneuvering before, which is how they find themselves in this predicament in the first place.

Black Lives Matter Activists Tear Down Students' Pro-Police Display

A "Blue Lives Matter" display at Dartmouth College to pay tribute to law enforcement officers was torn down on Friday and replaced with Black Lives Matter signs.

The school's College Republicans had received permission to put up the display in honor of National Police Week on a bulletin board in the school's student center.

But within hours, the display was torn down and in its place were flyers, which read: “You cannot co-opt the movement against state violence to memorialize its perpetrators. #blacklivesmatter.”

The activists who put the new flyers stood guard over the bulletin board for the whole day, while the College Republicans worked to resolve the situation through the school's administration.

Krauthammer on New Trump 'Scandals': If That's the Best They've Got, Then Plan for Inauguration

Charles Krauthammer reacted to recent "hit pieces" published in the media about Donald Trump that he says have fizzled.

Krauthammer said that a New York Times' article published over the weekend about Trump's history with women turned up nothing.

Trump's ex-girlfriend Rowanne Brewer Lane told Fox and Friends this morning that she was misquoted and that her words were taken out of context.

Krauthammer said: "It looks as if the Times had 50 interviews, spent a lot of money and time, knew it didn't really have a story, came out exactly with...a story that was nuanced, interesting, but there was nothing scandalous about it.
