I will touch lightly on Islam’s political ideology, but focus more on the true differences between Islam and religion.
The policies of Islam are not religious. They are designed as a roadmap for an engineered society. Islam, dictates social, political and judicial rules and organization. The Qur’an and other religious texts, eliminates the lines between religion and government. They direct that governmental laws are God’s law. These alone remove Islam from being a religion.
Look at the very practices of Muslims as they worship. True religions pursue a higher value. Religion seeks truth, beauty and goodness. However, Islam is entirely materialistic. Islam focuses on controlling the materialistic. Islam is a totalitarian way of life, with a religious component. It’s a geo-political system that has governmental, financial, social, military, legal and religious components.
Islam has replaced God for Muslims. Worship is defined as obedience to Islam, not God. Islam set its self as the entire will of God. Islam teaches God is unknowable. Muslims are taught, God is completely transcendent and his will is all things. Therefore, if a Muslim disobeys Islam, it is still God’s will that he did so. So if there is no difference between man’s will and God’s will, then there is no God to seek. Theologically, this is saying there is no God.
Islam has been completely reduced to a doctrine and only a doctrine. The Christian’s idea of faith is foreign to Muslims. Christian’s faith, is based on a growing trust in a loving, fatherly God. Christians have faith in a God who can be known, a God who can be approached. In Islam, God cannot be known, there is no bridge to him. What Muslims mean by faith is faith in the truth and rightness of Islam itself. Muslim faith is to Islam not God.
Muslims pray five times a day, facing Mecca. Again, the prayer Christians say is alien to a Muslim. As Christians we pray we open our inner life to God. We seek an intimate and personal communication with God. It is common for Christians during prayer to petition God, to strengthen us in virtue so we will be better prepared to meet the problems of our lives. Muslim prayer is not personal or intimate. It is communal and a memorized formula. Everyone repeats the same prayers, at the same time, facing the same direction. All the while performing the same muscular movements. It looks more like a military drill than a worship service. The prayers are designed to cement communal solidarity, not about any intimate contact with God. There is no intimacy between man and God in Islamic prayer. The prayers are designed to emphasize a relationship between the worshiper and Islam, not God.
The basics of Christian worship are unknown to Islam. As Christians we worship God. By this I mean we love, adore, and express gratitude to God. In Islam this cannot happen. Since there is no way to know God, any personal connection is not possible. Muslims cannot have any personal relationship with God. Muslims cannot love or express gratitude to God, he is unknown. Instead, worship is defined as obedience to Islam. Since God is transcendent and Muslims cannot know God, love God, or thank God, all is for Islam not God. In Islam, obedience to Islam is everything.
It is this last one that makes Islam incompatible with any civilized society. Islam demands obedience to Islam first and obedience to Islam only. Islam places itself first above all governments or other religions. Islam dictates Sharia Law as dominate.
Overall religion has been good for society. Religion nurtured morality, strengthened the family, fostered public service and encouraged social harmony. Islam does none of this. Islam, is self-segregating and promotes the idea of Muslim supremacy. Islam sows seeds of social discord. As to family, Islam declares women as property. I don’t know about your wife, but if I tried that I’d get a frying pan up-side the head.
I hope, I have demonstrated that Islam is not a religion. Instead it is a tyrannical doctrine of enslavement.
