Lawmakers probe US funding for Soros groups, left-wing causes in Europe

George Soros' alleged meddling in European politics has caught the attention of Congress.
Concerns about Soros' involvement most recently were raised by the Hungarian prime minister, who last week lashed out at the Soros "empire" and accused it of deploying "tons of money and international heavy artillery."
But days earlier, Republican lawmakers in Washington started asking questions about whether U.S. tax dollars also were being used to fund Soros projects in the small, conservative-led country of Macedonia.
Rep. Christopher Smith, R-N.J., led a group of House lawmakers in writing to Ambassador Jess Baily -- an Obama appointee -- demanding answers. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, also expressed concerns about USAID money going to Soros' Open Society Foundations as part of a broader concern that the U.S. Embassy has been taking sides in party politics.

The internet has received its latest video of two Russian jokers who have become well-known for their prank phone calls to celebrities and world leaders. This time it was with US Congresswoman Maxine Waters, the one who earlier claimed that "Putin is continuing to advance into Korea" and who now believed that Russia has invaded an African river.
A pair of notorious Russian phone pranksters known as Vladimir Kuznetsov (Vovan) and Alexei Stolyarov (Lexus) have posted a video of their talk with a new victim.This time it was a conversation with US Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-California), the one who'd earlier claimed that "Putin is continuing to advance into Korea."

Relax, Trump is stone cold sane
Let me issue the standard disclaimer of psychiatrists who discuss the mental health of public figures: I have not personally examined President Trump.
Now, let me put to rest the concerns of Sen. Al Franken and political commentators John Oliver and Andrew Sullivan and anyone else who publicly or privately has questioned the president’s sanity:
Donald Trump is stone cold sane.
When a man acquires billions of dollars through complex real estate transactions, invests in many countries, goes on to phenomenal success in television and turns his name into a worldwide brand, it is very unlikely that he is mentally unstable.
When the same man obviously enjoys the love and respect of his children and his wife, who seem to rely on him for support and guidance, it is extraordinarily unlikely that he is mentally unstable.
When the same man walks into the political arena and deftly defeats 16 Republican opponents and then the Democratic heir-apparent to a two-term president’s administration, the odds of that man being mentally unstable become vanishingly thin.
And when that very same man attracts to his team the kind of intellect and gravitas represented (to name just a few) by Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Secretary of Defense James Mattis, a retired Marine Corps general and commander of the U.S. Central Command, he cannot be mentally deranged. Period. It is a statistical impossibility.

President Trump has been in the Oval Office less than a month, and yet he's already making the American economy great again with an economic transformation that's only getting started.
Historically, the stock market can be a brutal grader. Thus far, Trump has earned an A+ and it's easy to see why.
The past few months have seen company after company commit to keeping jobs in the United States or even expand their operations at home. Tens of thousands of jobs have been already saved because of his bold leadership.
Now, with Trump's announcement last week that his tax reform plan benefiting all taxpayers will soon be presented to the nation, we are poised to unleash an economic expansion that will benefit hardworking Americans for generations to come.

House votes to overturn Obama rule forbidding states from defunding Planned Parenthood

The House voted on Thursday to overturn a rule forbidding states from divesting taxpayer dollars from Planned Parenthood in what was President Obama’s parting gift to the nation’s largest abortion provider.
Issued by the Department of Health and Human Services shortly before Mr. Obama left office, the rule prohibited states from considering whether a clinic performs abortions in distributing Title X dollars, which are earmarked for family planning services.
Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List, said the passage of H.J. Res. 43 is another sign that the former president’s legacy on abortion is being “dismantled.”

WIKILEAKS Exposes CIA Interference In French Presidential Elections Under President OBAMA

On Thursday WikiLeaks released a set of documents that show that the CIA was spying on France’s 2012 presidential candidates while under the Obama Administration.
The documents released by the anti-secrecy organization show what appears to be orders from intelligence officials instructing operatives to collect information on the candidates’ political strategies and internal communications according to the Daily Caller.
