Insane PC: Return War Horse Statue to its Place of Honor

"On September 17, 1997, the Virginia Historical Society unveiled The War Horse, a memorial to the 1.5 million horses and mules that died in the Civil War. Designed by Tessa Pullan of Rutland, England, and given by Paul Mellon, the statue stands in front of the historical society's building on the Boulevard in Richmond, Virginia".

Sadly, this is no longer true, as this spectacularly beautiful, bitter sweet, and well-lit horse has been moved to the parking lot as an after-thought.  He has been caught in the cross-fires of yet more human drama.  While it is good and  high time the nation is addressing the wounds of the Civil War and Racism: this horse, though a monument to civil war horses, is truly a monument to all the beasts of burden that die doing the human race's ugly work of war.

We’ve heard this could be a possibility for quite some time: Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s House district could be redrawn based on the 2020 census. And as Beth noted, New York is projected to lose one seat. This has not caught the fiery left-winger off guard. AOC has been known this could be a potential problem. It also highlights why Democrats threw a tantrum when The Trump administration proposed the very noncontroversial change to the 2020 census by including a citizenship question.

Columnist: ‘Terrifying’ That Parishioners Were Armed in TX Church

 

A columnist writing at AZCentral.com suggests it was “terrifying” that parishioners were armed at the church in White Settlement, Texas.

On December 29, Breitbart News reported that a gunman at West Freeway Church of Christ opened fire, only to be shot dead by an armed parishioner. Jack Wilson, the good guy with a gun, was one of many parishioners who drew their guns to fight back when the heinous attack began.

WSJ Columnist Details What the Democrats Are Really Doing with This Impeachment Holdup Game

The Senate Republican playbook should be put House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on mute and get this trial started. Pelosi and the Democrats have no say in the matter. They don’t. And by withholding the articles of impeachment against President Trump because they know it faces certain death in the Republican Senate creates a new constitutional crisis of its own. This isn’t about a fair trial. As Wall Street Journal columnist Kimberley Strassel noted, a trial would only further degrade their position in the polls on this impeachment push. It was never popular from the start, and now it’s underwater nationally. It’s especially not popular in the key swing states that Democrats have to win in 2020.

I think Democrats know this is a fiasco, the smart ones at least, but they made a 2018 promise to the base to impeach the president. They have to keep it. Strassel noted that Pelosi isn’t a scrub when it comes to political strategy; she can hang in there with McConnell. But the goal of this whole circus is to keep the idea of impeachment alive. It’s “rolling impeachment,” as Strassel noted. And it’s cancerous to constitutional order, but also the Senate GOP could enable it if they think the end goal is to nab a fair trial (via WSJ):

Democrats are now all-in on the effort to spark a civil war in America before Trump can win re-election in 2020. The philosophy of Democrats, of course, is, “If we can’t rule it, we will destroy it.”

And they know the Trump administration in inching closer every day to revealing the full breadth of corruption and criminality of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Comey and other treasonous criminals (including John McCain). Notably, all Americans need to understand that until John Brennan, James Comey, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are arrested and indicted, there is no legitimate, functioning rule of law in America.
