Store Clerk on Dead Robber: He made a ‘very, very poor decision in a state like NC, where everyone has guns’

Malik Harris, 18, attempted to rob the NC Tobacco store in Greensboro, North Carolina late last month.  An armed citizen stopped Harris in the act, fatally shooting him, WFMY 2 repots.

The incident happened sometime in the morning before 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 29th.  Harris entered the store armed with a handgun and quickly started making demands, according to store clerk Adil Khawaja.

“There were three or four customers in the store. And the guy came in and put the gun on all the customers, made everyone come [behind the counter] at gunpoint,” Khawaja explained.

An elderly lady walked in during the holdup and Harris quickly confronted her.

North Carolina Republicans Throw Overwhelming Support Behind Passionate Pro-Gun Candidate For Lt. Governor

One thing the mainstream media is most certainly not reporting on is the fact that United States citizens are taking the Second Amendment battle to the ballot box and winning. Amid the chaos of the Democratic nominee race, many stories are just falling by the wayside including that of Mark Robinson, a former factory worker and day care operator from Greensboro, North Carolina who just outright won the GOP nomination to the be the state’s next lieutenant governor.

Why is Robinson’s win significant and going mostly unreported by the bias left-wing media?

Robinson is a passionate pro-gun advocate who delivered a now famous speech during a Greensboro city council meeting in April 2018 that immediately went viral.

James Woods Blasts Schumer: ‘The Founding Fathers Wrote The Second Amendment For Violent Haters Like Chuck Schumer’

On Thursday, following the uproar that exploded on Wednesday after Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) issued an apparent threat targeting Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh at an abortion activist rally, prompting an avalanche of criticism launched toward Schumer for his remarks, actor James Woods warned that attitudes like Schumer’s were the precursor to something far more dangerous, and precisely the reason that the Second Amendment exists.

‘It Appears Political’ – Romney Pushes Back on Burisma Probe – Because His Top Advisor Sat on Board with Hunter Biden (VIDEO)

Senator Ron Johnson told reporters on Wednesday that Senate Republicans are entering a new phase of their investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden and their ties to a corrupt Ukrainian natural gas company, Burisma.

Senator Johnson (R-WI) said he will likely release an interim report within the next month or two about his committee’s probe into the Biden crime family, Politico reported.

“These are questions that Joe Biden has not adequately answered,” Ron Johnson said. “And if I were a Democrat primary voter, I’d want these questions satisfactorily answered before I cast my final vote.”

Romney doesn’t want any investigation into Burisma despite overwhelming evidence of a massive money laundering scheme so he is still weighing whether to vote for a subpoena in the probe.

So why would Romney defend the Bidens’ corruption and involvement with Burisma?

Because Romney’s advisor Joseph Cofer Black joined the board of Burisma Holdings while Hunter Biden was also serving on the board.

Chuck Darwin and His Critters: Possibly Interesting Response to a Reader

Fred of Fred on Everything and his lovely wife in Ajijic.

Over the years I have written columns about the growing doubts among scientists and mathematicians over aspects of Darwinian evolution. The fury aroused among the faithful has been intense and often personal, the doubts being called “ridiculous” but with no explanation of why they are ridiculous. These assertions are frequently, but not always, made by people who couldn’t tell toluene from the Taj Mahal. The following, for what if anything it is worth, is a response I wrote to an internet acquaintance whom I will call Derek.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Derek,

Since you have attacked me harshly and even insultingly for my doubts about what might be called doctrinaire evolutionism’s official story, perhaps you will permit me to defend myself.

I note that your castigation of me has been devoid of substance, being partly ad hominem (“Fred, you are just a retired reporter….”), partly crowd-sourced appeal to authority (“Ninety-nine point nine percent of biologists agree….”), and partly rank-pulling (“I hold the following imposing degrees from Berkeley, an imposing university….”)–none of these degrees, I note, related to evolution.

A North Carolina woman made her initial appearance in federal court today on charges of allegedly assaulting a Federal Air Marshal.

According to allegations detailed in the affidavit in support of the criminal complaint, on February 22, Dana Ghazi Mustafa, 27, assaulted a Federal Air Marshal on board United Airlines flight 933 that departed from Frankfurt, Germany, and landed at Dulles International Airport.

Replace Common Core with Common Sense. (Yes, It Can Be Done)

“When will time be up on the Common Core experiment?”

The Brookings Institution’s education expert, Tom Loveless, raised that pertinent question in a recent piece he wrote for the journal Education Next. In the article, Loveless laid out in great detail how the Common Core K–12 standards have failed miserably to raise student achievement over the past decade. You can read his strong, evidence-based article here, along with opposing arguments (unpersuasive in my view) for staying the course with Common Core.
