Florida Governor drops tactical nuke on Antifa & BLM
Florida Governor Ron Desantis just became everyone’s favorite person after today’s press conference.
There is a new law in Florida for the so called Antifa and BLM protester who have destroyed city after city in the US.
Violent assembly, 3rd degree felony. Blocking the road? Felony. Don’t touch monuments (no mention of penalty). Harassment of Citizens in public accommodations also penalized. My most thunderous applause was when he announced that R.I.C.O. will be applied to those organizing or funding riots. If you are arrested in a riot, not Portland’s Catch and Release: you are staying till you see a judge. Touch a cop? Six months mandatory minimum. And enhanced penalties for other crimes committed during the riots.
To municipalities “If you defund the police, then the state is going to defund any grants or aids coming to you.”
If local government is grossly negligent about a riot and let the Antifa boys cause damage to citizens and property, Sovereign Immunity will be suspended for that government and citizens can sue the bejesus out of them.
If you are convicted of participating in riots, you will no longer be able to get state benefits or employment.

There was a time I thought I’d live forever, I was too damn tough to die

Some friends and I spent some time in a place called Viet Nam
Most of us left here young boys, but we all came back a man.
They didn’t let us make the rules, so we did what we were told
And almost sixty thousand men lost their chance at getting’ old.
Back home they marched against the war, and called us evil names
Like ‘baby killers’, and ‘war mongers’; and said we were insane
And, hell, we just ignored them, and let ‘em have their fun
We’ve forgotten almost all their names, but we won’t forget this ONE…..
While our friends were dying in the south, she flew up to Hanoi
And sat on anti-aircraft guns that were shooting down our boys
And the smile she wore while sitting there for all the world to see!

Mary Fitzhugh (Ramey) Cunningham. 1905-2010: The last of my Mother's Friends
I traded a piano given to me by an Aunt for Daddy's '69 Ford Galaxy and Mother gave the piano to the church which put it in the Parish Hall. Years later, it burned down completely except for the piano which stood untanished!

She reminded me of Mrs. debutts who was Robert E. Lee's granddaughter.
Mr. and Mrs. Hunter debutts came to my Father's funeral and that made me happier than if all the world's leaders had come. Mrs. deButts also gave me a copy of Lee
& His Generals.

Sprague & Hunter deButts' wedding. They cut the cake with General

Mary Fitzhugh Ramey Cunningham died peacefully on October 14, 2010. Born
January 7, 1905, she was the daughter of Jane Carter Mason and John
Thomas Ramey, and the wife of John Hargrave Cunningham who predeceased
her, as did her sister Eliza Beverley Ramey Gatewood and her brother
John Jason Ramey.
Her interests were many, notably flowers and
gardening. She was honored by the Garden Club of Virginia and the Garden
Club of America. She was a member of The Piedmont Garden Club and The
Fauquier Loudoun Garden Club.
Mary was a horse enthusiast, loving
to ride on the farm with her father, going into Marshall driving
cattle, and going on camping trips on horseback. She was a regular at
all steeplechase races and an avid follower of the Triple Crown races.
The
history of Marshall was a lifetime interest. She rescued her home,
"Molly's Folly", circa late 1700's, from the path of Route 66. Her
favorite past time was reading and she loved sharing books. Mary was the
matriarch of her family, with Molly's Folly being the place all her
family members gathered.
Mary is survived by her first cousin,
Jane Carter Green Holt, her nieces, Jane Gatewood Roszel, Cay Ramey
Weimer, and her nephew John Mason Ramey, Jr. Her niece Mary Edwin
Gatewood Cann died in 2008. She is also survived by eight great nieces
and nephews and eleven great-great nieces and nephews.
Services
will be held Monday Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church,
Delaplane, Va. Interment Marshall Cemetery, Marshall, Va.
Contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Episcopal Church; The Marshall Rescue Squad or to The Marshall Fire Dept.
Arrangements are being handled by Royston Funeral Home, Inc. Middleburg.

Ballistics Report Confirms: Officer Shot In Breonna Taylor Raid Was Hit By Boyfriend, Not Friendly Fire

A newly-released ballistics report states that Sergeant Jonathan Mattingly, the police officer whose leg was hit by a bullet as he joined two other officers to serve a “no-knock” search warrant at Breonna Taylor’s apartment was shot by Taylor’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, not friendly fire, as had been alleged in some quarters.
The Louisville Metro Police Department released a Kentucky Police ballistics report that confirmed Mattingly was hit by a 9 mm round fired from Walker’s Glock Luger semiautomatic pistol, The Daily Mail noted. The officers were carrying .40-caliber guns and fired 32 rounds during the raid.
