My cousin was murdered a few weeks ago. Shot in the back of the head by a “friend.” And robbed. He was 29, harmless, but attached to one too many friends in low places. The killer, predictably, was also a young black man. Just as predictably, my cousin only met his father once or twice – just enough to keep his gut throbbing with the snub of paternal abandonment.
His older brother patched the gaps as much as he could. He encouraged him, chastised him, and called him on most days just to check in – like a father would. And like a father, alarm bells went off when his younger brother never returned his many calls a few Sundays ago. It was extremely unusual.
Fox News must be thrilled to finally be rid of
Chris Wallace, the only recognizable name at Fox regularly murdered by
the competition.
On Sunday, Wallace announced he was going to work for CNN. Oops, I mean CNN+, which will be CNN’s soon-to-be-failed streaming service.
Well, let’s first point out Chris Wallace has always been working for CNN. So with this humiliating career demotion, all he’s doing now is making it official.
Russian President Vladimir Putin was a taxi driver in his spare time
to make ends meet after the collapse of the USSR, which he said marked
the end of "historic Russia", according to a documentary soon to be
broadcast on Russian television.
A former KGB secret service
agent, Vladimir Putin, who has deplored the fall of the Soviet empire in
the past, said some 30 years later that the event remains a "tragedy"
for "most citizens", according to excerpts from the "Russia. Recent
History" film to be broadcast on Channel One and reported on by the RIA
Novosti agency.
A North Carolina man was crushed to death by a car while trying to cut off and steal its catalytic converter, Union County sheriff’s investigators said Friday. Officers found the man dead beneath a Toyota Prius sedan, one of “many vehicles” in the driveway of a home in the 3900 block of West Unionville Indian Trail Road, according to a Facebook post by the Sheriff’s Office. Evidence showed the man was cutting off and trying to steal the converter when the car crushed and killed him at about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, investigators said.
The FDA is working with the post office to hold packages containing ivermectin. The FDA could better use its resources to, I don’t know, publicly release the docs submitted by Pfizer to license its mandated liability-free V earlier than 75 years from now! https://t.co/i6eLcqnciXpic.twitter.com/O2d1zgTjAB
The censorship campaign on ivermectin took a disturbing turn with the latest developments.
The FDA is now being accused of attempting to confiscate and destroy packages containing ivermectin being shipped to Americans.
With the help of the United States Postal Service (USPS), the FDA
intends to withhold the safe, effective drug from COVID-19 patients,
that is according to recent reports published online.
Glenn Beck was on Tucker Carlson’s show on Wednesday night
and he discussed the many actions taken by Dr. Fauci and friends before
the China coronavirus (COVID-19) hit the US in early 2020.
Beck mentioned that Dr. Ralph Baric reviewed Moderna and Dr. Fauci’s
coronavirus vaccine in 2019. Something we reported early this year in
February.
Carolina dogs are often mistaken for mutts—usually some mix of German
Shepherd or cattle dog. They are recognized as a breed by the United
Kennel Club.
I myself owned a Carolina for 12 years before I learned what she was. And once I did it sure explained a lot!
Paul Jacobs saved 32,000 Vietnamese refugees on the East Sea when the East Sea war ended on 30/04/1975.
USS Kirk 1087 joined Operation Frequent Wind and helped civilians evacuate the remaining 18 ships of the Vietnam Republic Navy, and sent 32,000 Vietnamese refugees to the Philippines, so they could then immigrate to wherever.
Former Sen. Bob Dole of Kansas, known for his dry wit, got in one
last laugh during his own funeral at the Washington National Cathedral
in D.C. on Friday.
Daughter Robin Dole read a quip from her father’s farewell letter to America about vote integrity.
“As I make the final walk on my life’s journey, I do so without fear.
Because I know that I will, again, not be walking alone. I know that
God will be walking with me,” wrote the 1996 Republican presidential
nominee, who died Sunday at age 98.
“I also confess that I’m a bit curious to learn if I am correct in
thinking that heaven will look a lot like Kansas and to see, like others
who have gone before me, if I will still be able to vote in Chicago.”
"If that's the precedent then we'll let Californians sue those who put
ghost guns and assault weapons on our streets," Newsom said.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom said he plans to use the same tactic as Texas' abortion law to target assault rifle sales after the Supreme Court declined to block enforcement of the law.
Newsom said in a statement
Saturday that he has directed his staff to collaborate with the
Legislature and Attorney General Rob Bonta to draft a bill that would
allow private citizens to sue "anyone who manufactures, distributes, or
sells an assault weapon or ghost gun kit or parts in the State of
California."
