West to Obama: It wasn’t a phony scandal for Glen Doherty who ran to the sound of guns while others ran to bed

President Obama stated at the end of his 16 minute speech, "terrible things happen across the globe….we should act, that's what makes America exceptional." I find his words utterly disgusting because tomorrow we will remember four Americans who were abandoned by President Obama to die in Libya. I found no righteous indignation and call for a moral obligation to avenge and punish their islamic terrorist murderers - matter of fact, Obama called it a "phony scandal."

Christians are being butchered daily, where is his outrage? Israel is taking rocket and missile fire, where is his outrage? Some 100,000 Syrians had been killed by conventional munitions, and this was not the first chemical attack, where was his outrage? Obama has shown incompetence and weakness and has not presented a credible threat to Assad and Putin. If he wanted to respond he could have, God knows he did not seek congressional approval for Libya. He has been strategically outmaneuvered by Putin, lost the initiative, and allowed Putin to look like a statesman while he looks like a confused community organizer.

Growing up in a war-torn country, one is anxious to discover the root causes of a protracted war in this nation: Why did we have to fight the Communists? Why couldn’t we overcome them in spite of the material aid from western superpowers such as France and the United States? These questions became a constant obsession to me.

Very early in my youth, I pored over literature about the French Indochina war. I got acquainted with names like Jean Lartéguy and Jules Roy describing the tragic destruction of the French Expeditionary forces on Route Coloniale 4 in 1950 when they tried to withdraw from frontier towns of Cao Bang, Lang Son, or the bloody siege of Dien Bien Phu in 1954. 

At that age, I could not grasp the fact that the highly technological warfare of the West is no match to the strategy of Mao Tse Tung wasting human lives, waging a long war that will eventually wear out the enemy. 

Uwe has brilliantly quoted Mao’s statement in his book: “ He who cannot win the insurrectional war, loses. He who does not lose a protracted insurrectional war, wins”. This seems to be a lesson the West — and we — never learn. 

You notice that I mention Mao, not Ho Chi Minh or Vo Nguyen Giap, because right in the beginning, the enemy’s strategy is Mao’s. At the RC4 battles, Chinese military and political advisors such as Cheng Geng and Luo Gui Bo were already present alongside Ho Chi Minh and Vo Nguyen Giap.

Later on, after Dien Bien Phu, our country was divided along the 17^th parallel into North and South Viet Nam. Then came the Americans. This time I had all the reasons to rejoice. 

“John Wayne is coming to our rescue. How can we lose?” I thought.

Help save some Freedom history

 

I don’t really know who else to go to but Patriots and others of the III percent vibe, my reach isn’t as large as yours, but a fading part of our warrior history is at risk, the town I live in, Ypsilanti, MI is the home to the B-24 Liberator, built by Henry Ford at a local plant, the city, and various other people are pledging time to save a portion of the factory (since vacated by GM) to save where Rosie the Riveter was born and where Freedom flew from here to points beyond after assembling one plane an hour.

The Big Cover Up – Why Obama Really Wants to Go to War in Syria

Let’s take an honest look at what Obama is doing to black Americans and his own most loyal supporters. It is, in a word…unimaginable.

It all starts with Syria. Why Syria? Why now? Until Russia interceded, going to war in Syria seemed the most important thing in the world to Obama and his Secretary of State John Kerry. They seemed DESPERATE to go to war, at any costs.

President Obama is using Syria to distract from his poor jobs record. 

But why? Syria has nothing to do with us. They are not threatening us. Their own war is a civil war with no “good guys.” How does America benefit from a war with Syria? Why did Obama suddenly decide a “red line” has been crossed, when there are “red lines” all over the world- including the killing of Christians and the burning of 71 Christian churches in Egypt. Why is it so important to risk American lives to defend the Syrian rebels- who are partners with Al Qaeda, America’s sworn enemy? We didn’t go to war to avenge the murder of our own citizens at Benghazi, so why would we go to war to avenge Al Qaeda deaths in Syria? None of this makes any sense at all.

Until you realize it’s a massive cover-up. Obama’s WMD- Weapon of Mass Distraction. Obama is desperate to cover-up the facts about his dying economy and the damage he’s done to his own most loyal voters. Obama has destroyed the lives of the very people who consider him “the American Idol.”How bad is Obama’s economy? Forget the 7.3 percent unemployment rate that is reported by the government. That’s pure fraud and propaganda. That figure goes down only because hundreds of thousands of Americans drop out of the workforce. In other words, if you stop looking for work, and go on food stamps and welfare, Obama says the unemployment number just got better!

Anti-Islam Florida Pastor Arrested Before He Could Burn 2,998 Korans on 9/11 Anniversary

 

Pastor Terry Jones was arrested Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2013 as he drove a pickup truck towing a large barbeque-style grill filled with kerosene-soaked Korans to a park in Mulberry, Fla. 

Florida Pastor Terry Jones was arrested on his way to burning 2,998 copies of the Muslim holy book to mark the 12th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Jones was arrested Wednesday as he drove a pickup truck towing a large grill containing thousands of kerosene-soaked Korans, the Associated Press reported. He said he was on his way to a park to light the books on fire, one for each victim of the terror attacks.

Sheriff’s deputies in Polk County arrested Jones, 61, and associate pastor Marvin Sapp Jr., 44, each on a charge of unlawfully transporting fuel, according to the AP, and Jones for misdemeanor unlawful open carry of a firearm. Sapp faces a charge for not having valid registration for the trailer.

NC: NC Police Claim Christian Carrying Cross Violates ‘Dangerous Weapons’ Law

A Christian evangelist witnessing at a public festival in North Carolina this past weekend was forced to put away a wooden cross that he was holding as police asserted that it could be considered a “dangerous weapon.”

Brothers Jesse and Matthew Boyd, along with friend Kent Blalock, attended the 32nd annual Historic Morganton Festival on Saturday to open-air preach, distribute Gospel literature and hold Scripture-based signs as a witness to attendees. Matthew carried a small 3-pound wooden cross that bears the question “Are You Ready?” and folds away when not in use.

The men state that even before they attended the event, they became aware that there could be problems in light of the festival rules, which barred free speech activity on the streets. In turn, Jesse contacted City Attorney Louis Vinay to express concern, sending him a compilation of relevant case law that protected free speech activity at public events.

Most notably, the evangelists–and anyone else who wished to engage in free speech–would have been required to stand in a “free speech zone,” which was located two blocks outside of the event and away from the crowds.

Analysts counter claims on number of al Qaeda among Syrian rebels

Al Qaeda-linked groups operating alongside Syria’s rebels are growing stronger, analysts told Congress on Tuesday, countering recent claims by the Obama administration and some senior lawmakers that extremists are playing only a marginal role in the civil war.

“Al Qaeda and its allies dominate a large portion of northern Syria and play a key role in fighting throughout the rest of the country,” Thomas Joscelyn, an analyst with the Washington-based Foundation for Defense of Democracies, testified before the House Homeland Security Committee.

While Mr. Joscelyn said “al Qaeda does not control the entire rebellion, which is made up of a complex set of actors,” his testimony stood in stark contrast to that provided last week by Secretary of State John F. Kerry, who sought to downplay the role of extremists among Syria’s opposition fighters.

Mac Daddy’s of Cape Carteret hosts an American Idol for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
 
Mac Daddy’s Entertainment Center is commemorating their fifth year of serving the Crystal Coast with a party Cape Carteret has never seen. To celebrate their five-year anniversary, Mac Daddy’s will be hosting a concert featuring Crystal Bowersox of American Idol on Saturday, September 28 at 7 pm. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

When Mac Holz opened the doors of Mac Daddy’s five years ago this fall, he wanted to provide our area with an entertainment center that rivaled those of the big cities. “We live in such an awesome area and our community deserves a place where they can play and see great entertainment,” says Holz. He continued, “I was pleased to have the chance to bring a mainstream artist to our beachfront community.”

Mac Daddy’s has set the bar on fun in North Carolina for the past five years and has become a staple for a good time out. From car shows to parties, festivals to the Crystal Coast Con, Mac Daddy’s has turned the average bowling center idea on its ear and created a family entertainment center phenomenon. “The key to Mac Daddy’s success has always been to think ‘what can we do next and how can we entertain or benefit the community?’”, says Connie Nolter, General Manager of Mac Daddy’s. When it came to their five year celebration, they really wanted it to be something special.
