Mac Daddy’s of Cape Carteret hosts an American Idol for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Mac Daddy’s Entertainment Center is commemorating their fifth year of serving the Crystal Coast with a party Cape Carteret has never seen. To celebrate their five-year anniversary, Mac Daddy’s will be hosting a concert featuring Crystal Bowersox of American Idol on Saturday, September 28 at 7 pm. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

When Mac Holz opened the doors of Mac Daddy’s five years ago this fall, he wanted to provide our area with an entertainment center that rivaled those of the big cities. “We live in such an awesome area and our community deserves a place where they can play and see great entertainment,” says Holz. He continued, “I was pleased to have the chance to bring a mainstream artist to our beachfront community.”

Mac Daddy’s has set the bar on fun in North Carolina for the past five years and has become a staple for a good time out. From car shows to parties, festivals to the Crystal Coast Con, Mac Daddy’s has turned the average bowling center idea on its ear and created a family entertainment center phenomenon. “The key to Mac Daddy’s success has always been to think ‘what can we do next and how can we entertain or benefit the community?’”, says Connie Nolter, General Manager of Mac Daddy’s. When it came to their five year celebration, they really wanted it to be something special.

“On September 28, we’re going to start the day in celebration mode with bowling discounts, a jumpy house, a magic show and free cake!” says Nolter ”It’s a birthday so come celebrate and have a piece of cake! There will be fun activities all day for the family but starting at 7 pm, we will have the biggest present, American Idol Crystal Bowersox will hit the stage for an evening we won’t forget!”
Mac Daddy’s Entertainment Center joins Bowersox on the mission of bringing Diabetes awareness and education to the community. The proceeds from the night will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Tickets for the Crystal Bowersox concert at Mac Daddy’s will be $20 in advance and $25 at the door. You can purchase tickets at www.mymacdaddys.com. For more information on Mac Daddy’s and the Rockin’ Five Year Celebration concert, please contact Connie Nolter at (252) 393-6565.
