Right here is where “public safety” meets revenue generation.
Are you familiar with the term “highway robbery”? Check out what the cops are doing in this short video:
Brilliant, no? They apparently get some guy (probably undercover cop by the way he keeps seemingly looking for a signal) to hold up traffic by crossing the street at this crosswalk 100 times, then a patrol car waiting in the wings pulls over the people who don’t stop when this man repeatedly crosses the street over and over.
He just walks right out in front of traffic multiple times here, not even waiting for a break in traffic flow or looking both ways first like our mommas taught us.
What about this is “protecting and serving,” by the way? This is more like a criminal racket set up to extort money from people who are otherwise minding their own business just trying to get where they’re going on an American street.

MSNBC Shocker: Nearly 9 in 10 Support Constitutional Carry
For those who wonder why MSNBC has lost nearly half of its viewers, this might serve as yet another example. A poll, hosted on MSNBC.com, asked a simple question:
Do you think people should be allowed to carry guns in public?People were given three options for answering and, with 90,000+ votes cast, here are the current numbers (as of July 6, 2014):
- 88% – Yes! The Second Amendment guarantees it. (79,000+ votes)
- 8% – No, it’s too dangerous. (7.266 votes)
- 4% – Only for self defense. (3,636 votes)
I would not look for these poll results to be featured on any network shows in the near future. Remember, this is the same network that defended Rhode Island State Senator Josh Miller after he told a gun rights activist to, “Go F*ck Yourself.”

"*I was home –don’t know if I was married or not. Mother was writing letters at her desk and I was in the library. She called to me and asked if I knew how to spell roastnears. I called back and said r o a s t i n g e a r s . There is silence and she appeared at the library door in shock. She had never realized where the word came from!"
*Anne graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1951 back when it was still sane. My mother graduated from St. Mary's back when it was the last two years of high school and the first two years of college. She was almost expelled because she crossed the street in front of the school with her male cousin, but without a chaperone! :)

Ben Carson: America now in 'pre-fascist' era
Saul Alinsky or Alexander Solzhenitsyn? Whose path will America follow?
Dr. Ben Carson, a noted author, brain surgeon and possible Republican candidate for president, says the country has already gone far down the path of Alinsky, but it’s not too late to pull back from the brink of authoritarian socialism.
As Americans prepared to celebrate their freedom this Independence Day, Carson sat down with WND founder and CEO Joseph Farah and offered a sobering view of the current state of the country.
In the light of NSA spying, government taking over health care and the IRS intimidating tea-party activists, Farah asked if there were any lessons that could be drawn from Solzhenitsyn’s experience living under Soviet communism during the Cold War.
“I remember back in the day, Solzhenitsyn was asked ‘what went wrong in the Soviet Union’ and what made it the nightmare police state that it was?” Farah said. “And he said, ‘We forgot about God.’”
Carson agreed with that assessment. He said he encourages people to read the works of not just Solzhenitsyn, but those of his historic adversaries – Vladimir Lenin, Karl Marx and Alinsky.

General: Border crisis threatens U.S. existence
America’s porous southern border and the recent surge in illegal immigration is more than just a “humanitarian crisis,” claims the top U.S. general in charge of Central and South America, it’s a threat to the United States’ very existence.
Marine Corps Gen. John Kelly is commander of the U.S. Southern Command, or SOUTHCOM, charged with responsibility for the Caribbean Sea and all lands south of Mexico.
Particularly in regards to the drug trade, murder rates and terrorist activity brewing in Central America, Kelly says, the waves of Latin Americans sweeping through Mexico and illegally into Texas presents a threat to the U.S. every bit as serious as Iran or North Korea.
“In comparison to other global threats, the near collapse of societies in [this] hemisphere with the associated drug and [illegal immigrant] flow are frequently viewed to be of low importance,” Kelly said in an interview with Defense One. “Many argue these threats are not existential and do not challenge our national security. I disagree.”

As illegal immigrants continue to spill across the U.S.-Mexico border, federal authorities are attempting to relocate the migrants from South Texas to housing facilities in states across the nation. One such facility is located in Murrieta, California, where a large group of protesters recently blocked a bus full of migrants from arriving. The protesters remain there, adamant that illegal immigrants don't get dumped in their town. But soon the concerned citizens may be forced to step down--Breitbart Texas has learned that federal agents plan to arrive in Murrieta on Monday with riot gear to ensure that another busload makes it to the housing facility.
Jeremy Oliver, a resident of Temecula, California--a town that neighbors Murrieta--told Breitbart Texas that local police officers warned the protesters that "it's going to get ugly."
