Fewer U.S.-Born Citizens Working While More Foreign-Born Residents Find Jobs

Bureau of Labor Statistics Jobs Report

Nothing to see here, this administration had nothing to do with it, just move along...........

According to the recent Bureau of Labor Statistics jobs report released last Friday, U.S.-born citizens lost 320,000 jobs while foreign-born residents gained 306,000. This keeps with the growing trend that the number of jobs held by foreign-born residents has steadily increased at a faster rate than the number of jobs held by U.S.- born residents since 2009.

NC: Gun laws often kill the innocent

Image result for carol Brown, a 39 year-old abused person, died in New Jersey waiting on a purchase permit.

Carol Brown, a 39 year-old abused person, died in New Jersey waiting on a purchase permit. She was killed by a person she had a restraining order against. That person used a knife. Carol was subject to the waiting period. This is a person who probably did not care to own a gun until she felt threatened.

Why did she have to wait so long that she lost her life? Why don’t gun control advocates provide a way for people in fear for their lives an opportunity to protect themselves? I hope her family is suing New Jersey, if for no other reason, than to make a point that she was denied her constitutional right.

Unity of Effort, Infighting, and Black Helicopters

Much of this had been said before, a lot of it by myself here on the MVT Blog.

There is a strong tendency towards infighting and gossip among the Liberty Community. This is something that I try and stay out of. I am not a ‘militia’ member, or otherwise. I am a tactical trainer, blogger and author.  When I do jump in and comment I do so from a belief that I am trying to help, to offer advice and constructive comment.  This is, however, hard: because due to this very tendency to gossip and fight, to many it is just “Max getting into it’ with someone, it’s just another feud, pull up a chair and enjoy the ringside.

There are many strands to my comments today. The background to this is a post I wrote last week ‘“It’s a Trap” – or – Comment on the Malheur Protest.‘ The post itself is self-explanatory, so you should probably read it if you haven’t already. The post was put up on WRSA, and to my surprise, it was very well received, and I considered that I might have made a contribution to steady the boat as the Malheur protest progressed. Then shortly after, another post went up at WRSA, swiftly undoing much of the good: two steps forward, one step back. Here is my response to that: ‘The Fear and the Paranoia.‘ If you have not done so already, you should probably go and read that one too, to get a sense of the background of what I am writing here.

FBI Has Enough Evidence to Prosecute Hillary Clinton for Public Corruption

Via sauced07

An investigation into possible mishandling of classified information on Hillary Clinton’s private email server has expanded to consider whether Clinton’s work as Secretary overlapped with her work for the Clinton Foundation run by her family.

Fox News‘ Catherine Herridge published the report, citing unnamed FBI sources, Monday morning. The report indicates the initial security referral looking into whether or not classified information was mishandled has expanded to look at possible public corruption involving the Clinton Foundation.

Canada: "Heads Up, Something's Going down!"

 Hi Brock,

We're experiencing some major censorship in Canada the past few days, and it's getting extreme.

I'm on a suspension from Facebook, for critiquing CBC news and our Prime Minister. I was instructing a large group of Facebook users about how to network and get their message out to the public. I was banned within hours of this. It also appears the leaders of the group are being censored.

There was a terrorist attack in Calgary Alberta last night, and so far most posts are disappearing.

Links from Pamela Geller and Bridgette Gabriel have been blocked/removed. Very little info is available. Canadians are already frustrated with little to no comment on several mysterious stabbings that have occurred in Toronto within the last month.

This is the worst incidents of censorship I've ever witnessed in Canada. Just thought I'd get the word out, our sacred Freedoms we speak so proudly of here in Canada are now being hindered.

Take care for now,

Dale V. Pippin

Oregon militia tears down gov’t fence, wants ranchers released

Via sauced07

Armed men occupying Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon are tearing down part of a fence erected by the government to keep ranchers out of federally owned property.

The escalation comes 10 days into the standoff at the fowl sanctuary south of Burns, Oregon. Ammon and Ryan Bundy, who head the group occupying the refuge, announced they would be tearing down the portion of the fence and replacing it with a gate, to allow local ranchers access to pastures.

“Get Past Race and Fix Current Problems:” A Reply

 south-carolina-college-1820

South Carolina State Senator Katrina Frye Shealy recently declared that the state should “get past race and fix current problems.”   Dr. W. Kirk Wood, Professor History Emeritus at Alabama State University, wrote this in reply.

Dear Sen. Shealy,

Your recent letter to the editor of the State newspaper of 12-7-2015 (“Let’s Get Past Race and Fix Current Problems”) was welcomed and reflected the views of many of your constituents mine included.   Writing as a retired Prof. of History from Alabama State University (1986-2011), which school is a historically black university by the way, I can tell you that African-Americans and “Politically Correct” white liberals (and Democrats) do not want to get beyond race.   It benefits both to keep an exaggerated legacy of racism from slavery days alive for the sake of the politics of “victimization” and blaming the larger society of color prejudice for their individual ills and shortcomings rather than looking at their own personal agency caused by poor life decisions.  In turn, this fits the liberal, Democratic Party agenda of ever more government to solve all the ills of America. Nowadays, however, instead of entitlements, government has become the agent of reverse discrimination and, ironically, intolerance  of any one or entity judged to be insensitive toward minorities.
