From over the transom:

I’m confused.
Are you confused?
Are they confused?
Is our Media confused?
Are our Politicians confused?

IF WE COULD JUST FIGURE OUT WHO’S CAUSING THE PROBLEM…
Let’s see… do I understand this thing correctly?

The Beltway Snipers were Muslims

Trump Administration Strips Funding For Illegal Aliens, Reallocates Money to Victims of Their Crimes

Speaking from the White House briefing room Tuesday, Press Secretary Sean Spicer announced the development of a new Immigration and Customs Enforcement office focused on helping victims of crimes committed by illegal aliens. The office will also assist family members of victims and is part of President Trump's recent executive action to bolster enforcement of immigration laws already on the books.

"This office [Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement Office] will facilitate the engagement with victims and their families to ensure questions and concerns regarding immigration enforcement efforts are addressed," Spicer said, adding that the establishment of the office fulfills a campaign promise.

Earlier today, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly detailed the new office in a memo to all relevant agencies inside DHS.

Attack on Robert E. Lee is an Assault on American History Itself

Early in February, the City Council of Charlottesville, Virginia voted 3-2 to remove a bronze equestrian monument to Robert E. Lee that stands in a downtown park named in his honor. Vice Mayor Wes Belamy, the council’s only African American member, led the effort to remove the statue.

In the end, this vote may be largely symbolic. Those opposed to the statue’s removal intend to file a lawsuit and point to a state statute that says Virginia cities have no authority over the war memorials they inherited from past generations. “If such are erected,” the law reads, “it shall be unlawful for the authorities of the locality, or any other person or persons, to disturb or interfere with any monuments or memorials so erected.”

Washington vs. Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln and George Washington stare silently at one another across the reflecting pool on the National Mall in Washington D.C., their paths inextricably linked by the historians who consider both to be the greatest presidents in American history.

One is a monument, a testament to the man and his influence on American history, the other a memorial to the Lincoln legacy, a persistent reminder of the new United States.

Washington was at one time the symbol of America. Even twenty years after his death, Americans painted their mantles black in mourning for the indispensable man, and many American families hung portraits of both George and Martha Washington in their homes.

Lincoln became a messianic figure, the martyr in a cause to forge a new nation based on the proposition that all men are created equal in an indissoluble union.

Honest Abe supplanted Honest George as the quintessential American, and thus two American symbols had been born.

A Dutch secret service agent who was part of the team responsible for protecting Geert Wilders, the frontrunner in next month's election, has been suspended on suspicion of leaking details to a criminal organization, the secret service said on Wednesday.

Wilders, who campaigns on an anti-Islam platform that includes closing mosques and banning immigration from Muslim countries that has led to the protection, condemned the alleged breach, saying he cannot function without adequate security.

Dutch newspapers De Telegraaf and NRC Handelsblad and the country's national broadcaster NOS identified the suspect as an experienced officer in his mid-30s, using his first name and last initial.

Secret Service chief Erik Akerboom said he could not confirm the man's identity but confirmed media reports he has a "Moroccan background".

Muslim Brotherhood Infiltration of U.S. National Security Agencies

A September 29, 2015, Center for Security Policy (CSP) article indicated that more than 50 U.S. intelligence analysts working with the U.S. Central Command had filed complaints with the Department of Defense Inspector General claiming that their analyses had been manipulated by senior officials to downplay the threat of ISIS and al-Qaeda in Syria. The alleged motive for these omissions and manipulations was to present a picture of ISIS, al-Qaeda, and the Syrian War that supported Obama Administration ideology and policy.

The CSP believed this was just the tip of the iceberg revealing a far more comprehensive agenda to present Islam as a Religion of Peace that had nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism or Jihad.

this essay is by abraxas, and it goes a long way in explaining why donald trump is president of the united states.   and, why certain of us (and in no small numbers) will fight, as in "engage in mortal combat," to keep him president.

follows the essay:
For nearly all last year my friends begged me to listen to one of Trump's campaign speeches but I didn't.  I was too cynical to think any political harangue could be interesting - or believable.  But I was wrong and, Lord, did I discover that today when, for the first time in my life, I listened to him speak.  It blew my socks off.  I sat there in front of my computer screen listening to the live streaming of his speech on YouTube and my mouth dropped open in astonishment.  I had never heard such a riveting, thrilling speech in my life, the hairs on the back of my arms stood up.  This man has the power of speech and charisma I've not witnessed since the days of Reagan.  I was blown away, just blown away.

President Trump signed an executive order Thursday that targets transnational criminal organizations such as drug cartels and street gangs like MS-13, which is directed by its leaders in El Salvador.

An affidavit from an FBI special agent last year highlighted the transnational nature of MS-13.

“MS-13’s primary functioning principles center on violence, including murder, and a strict military structure of communication and command, headquartered in El Salvador and spread throughout various ‘programs’ and ‘cliques’ in the United States,” FBI special agent Jeffery Wood wrote.
