Big Horn Armory AR500: 3,700 ft-lbs of Big Bore Record-Breaking Awesomeness (Full Review)

I don’t often get the chance to review a record-breaking firearm. The usual suspects in my T&E lineup – bolt action .308’s, semi-auto CCW’s, and pump-action shotguns – are functional and fun to shoot, but few are as unique as the AR500 from Big Horn Armory.

The AR500 is, according to the company’s claims and my own research, the most powerful short-range semi-auto rifle in the world. Chambered in the .50-caliber 500 Auto Max cartridge, the AR500 packs a wallop in a modified AR-10 platform. Its semi-auto action is perfect for big and dangerous game hunters, and it offers the maneuverability and customizability inherent in the AR platform. Combined with Buffalo Bore’s 350, 400, and 440 grain loads, the AR500 is ready to bring down, quite literally, any kind of critter you’re hoping to hunt.

Graham: The only people yelling at me ‘would turn the country into a mob’

 

Shouting protesters repeatedly interrupted the rally, including a moment of silence for victims of a shooting in a synagogue in Pittsburgh on Saturday that left 11 people dead.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said in a tweet on Monday that the only people yelling at him are those who want to turn the U.S. into a "mob."

"All the people wanting to yell at me would turn the country into a mob ... they don't respect the presumption of innocence," Graham tweeted.

"They have a view of the government that would make us Venezuela."

Breaking reports overnight ties the migrant caravan in Mexico working its way to the US to billionaire George Soros, the man behind nearly every anti-American group working against the USA over the past decade.

The migrant caravan coming up through Mexico is obviously funded by some far left group.

The second illegal migrant caravan was held up at the border between Mexico and Guatemala this weekend.

The illegal caravan migrants heading to the US southern border to claim asylum.

The caravans are mostly men, around 80%.

This past Saturday, the Jewish day of rest, a middle-aged man burst into a baby-naming service at a Pittsburgh synagogue. What followed was the deadliest anti-Semitic attack in American history.

Eleven men and women, who had come only to celebrate and to pray, were gunned down, their blood pooling around their scattered prayer books. A heroic team of local police officers charged the shul under heavy fire. Though many sustained severe injuries, the massacre was finally brought to an end.

The gunman was captured and should, in my opinion, face the death penalty.

Deployment numbers are increase from initial estimates of 800 troops

The U.S. military plans to deploy 5,000 troops to the southwest U.S. border in anticipation of a caravan of would-be asylum seekers and migrants currently moving northward in Mexico, U.S. officials said Monday.

The new figure is a major increase from initial estimates of 800 troops and would represent a military force equal to about one-third the number of customs officials currently working at the border. The military sent about 2,000 National Guard troops to the area earlier this year.

As thousands of Central Americans continue marching north, President Trump reportedly plans to make a major immigration speech on Tuesday.

According to the Washington Post, he is expected to announce that he is invoking emergency powers, on national security grounds, to stop those people and others from entering the United States.
“I think what the president has been saying and will continue to say, and certainly what I have been saying, is, this caravan is not getting in,” Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen told “Fox News Sunday.”
