Don’t Count on American Compliance With Gun Confiscation

 Via Marc

Dated

Non-compliance with gun-confiscation laws has been widespread even in countries that don’t protect the right of citizens to keep and bear arms.

Americans are already notoriously non-compliant with strict gun-control measures in states that have enacted them on a smaller scale.

The firearms and magazines that gun-control advocates wish to confiscate simply are not a driving force behind homicides—and America’s lawful gun owners know it.

As someone who works in Second Amendment policy, I often feel as though I have heard every bad, impractical or naïve gun-control argument that could possibly exist; in fact, it is becoming increasingly rare for me to find myself truly stunned at a statement made by a pro-gun control politician or advocacy group.

Yet even I was struck speechless when former Congressman Beto O’Rourke suggested during his presidential campaign that Americans would simply comply with his proposed laws to confiscate tens of millions of their firearms.

“If we’re able to pass mandatory buybacks and I’m able to sign that into law, then I fully expect our fellow Americans to turn in their AR-15s and AK-47s,” said O’Rourke.

Charleston County Courthouse - SC Picture Project

This is a post that has been put off and put off due to other more pressing issues literally as the nation hangs in the balance. A presidential election affects the entire nation and therefore the unresolved nature of it is vexing. Regardless whether the election is settled or not, the change from a corrupted and dysfunctional republic to an all out communist state run by the puppet master that is China is another thing.

The Autonomous County Project is something designed to combat the communist wave sweeping the nation. The Constitution embodies some particular ideals that are important for a free people to cling to, even if they pack the courts and turn the Supreme Court into a liberal lovefest, finding everything under the sun "constitutional." That is where we are. It's important for the individual to demand their rights, especially when they are being ignored by the establishment. The Constitution embodies those rights, but it cannot create them and cannot destroy them. It can either be an aid in securing them or a nonsensical piece of paper. The difference is up to the people.

The Left’s Burning Desire for Revenge

If you can keep it

Every. Damned. Word.  E.g.: “In other words, are you out of your ever-loving little minds? These people STOLE two elections – it’s now absolutely obvious the nominal right is fine with this. They hope for crumbs from their masters’ tables.”

The left is more likely to kill them, but never mind – in a row, in full view, and refused to let us have our day in court to show the evidence.

Because the American people are now peons with NO STANDING and can be disenfranchised with no punishment. But you’re afraid that largely (truly) peaceful protesters “made them mad?”

They stole it with a brazenness that staggers even as they gaslight us to say “Votes being pulled from Trump and given to Biden caught live on video? Didn’t really happen you conspiracy theorist kook!” Then the enemedia declared victory and the Left seems poised to march to unrestrained power with a burning desire for revenge. Revenge on Trump, anyone associated with him, and even John or Jane Q. Public that supported him; The Progressive Purge Begins:

1984: A Republican member of Congress has been removed from a panel at Harvard University for daring to agree with President Trump's belief that there was voter fraud in the November election.

Stefanik responded that it's a “rite of passage and badge of honor” to be boycotted by U.S. universities.

U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York was removed from a senior advisory committee at Harvard's school of government after she declined to resign voluntarily, according to a statement from Douglas Elmendorf, dean of the Harvard Kennedy School.

Hundreds of students and alumni called on Harvard to cut ties with Stefanik, a 2006 Harvard graduate, after last week’s violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Stefanik was one of roughly a dozen current and former public servants on a senior advisory committee for Harvard’s Institute of Politics, a program intended to get undergraduates interested in public service careers.
