  1. Ms Hayes, with all due respect, you have it totally backwards. Many go to college, because they are NOT smart enough, physically fit, mentally stable enough to join the military. To join the military, means that you will be expected to act like a mature adult, with all the demands, obligations and responsibilties that go with being an adult.
    Whereas, going to college, permits one to continue to act like a teenager for another 4-6 years.. And many when they "graduate" have a massive student loan debt for a degree that does not get them a job with pay check big enough to begin to pay back their student loan debt AND many find themselves back living in their parents basement (and still paying their video games). Meanwhile, their parents and grandparents were their age, they had already had a job to provide for their wife and children, (and may I add, they raise a family, bought their stuff and saved for the future on just on paycheck).
    So, who is the too dumb one? Honey, you don't have the slightest clue
