A lobbyist has refused to drink a glass of water containing a potentially cancer-causing pesticide during an interview despite repeatedly claiming the chemical is completely harmless.

Dr Patrick Moore, a Canadian lobbyist employed by farming products manufacturer Monsanto, was being interviewed on French television as part of an investigation into genetically modified foods when the interviewer asked him about the evidence linking glyphosate to an increased risk of cancer.

  1. First, glycophosphate is an herbicide, not a pesticide.

Second, the poison is in the dosage. You wouldn't take 40 tylenols when you have a bad headache because you want it to go away faster. But you don't ban tylenol because it is deadly.
You can kill/poison yourself taking too much Vitamin A or most any other vitamin/mineral supplement. Grapefruit are good for you, but if you eat ONLY grapefruit you will become very ill. Will it give you cancer? Who knows. Maybe you were going to get cancer anyway. Cancer is just a condition where cells become abnormal and do not function properly or cause tumors.

Cancer is a first world disease. Made possible because we are not starving or scraping our existence out of the dirt while being culled by other diseases related to starvation, clean water, basic hygiene and opportunistic bugs/viruses/bacteria/parasites.

I wouldn't drink an herbicide or pesticide either. Not because I think it's evil or causes cancer, but because your GI system is likely going to react violently to it.
Those that are so vehemently working to ban or control our food supply are not doing so because of concern over our health. It's a control thing. It's an anti-capitalism thing.

SInce WWII the % of people who supply our food is less than 1%. Problems arise when tyranny of the minority - those who've never grown a thing, or raised a crop or an animal in their life, dictate and regulate the process, because it's not that they know better, but because they derive their power from crisis and CONTROL is the name of the game.

That being said we are in a dangerous state where corporations/politicians basically control our food supply and we all know they are unaccountable and corrupted. The advances in agriculture have allowed an abundance of food, attacking the very processes that brought about this, will achieve one thing; starvation of the peasants, NOT The elites who are trying to ban/villify pesticides, herbicides, GMO's. They prey upon Joe citizen's ignorance of science.

  2. Monsanto is the most evil death star. That was a brilliant interview.

  3. The doctor stating a person could drink a whole gallon of the stuff without negative
consequences was stupid to me. He set his own self up. Entertaining interview
    though.
