  1. I was on guard duty one cold night back in the early 70s, struggling to stay awake and to stay warm. The mind thinks of all sorts of curious things when it's tired and fighting to stay awake and alert....

The thought that the earth is like an electon circling it's central nucleus, the sun. And I considered that there are other systems similar to our solar system, with their own planets, electrons, circling their own sun. A bunch of atoms that alone are individual solar systems, but in a larger context make something much bigger. Put them all together and they comprise a big iron nail. That nail is just sitting there waiting for The Big Guy to smack it on it's head with a hammer....

When do you suppose that the hammer will fall?

    Happy Easter.
