  1. For those who may not know, a "Yooper" is a semi-derogatory term for a resident of Michigan's Upper Peninsula ("U.P.").

Folks from surrounding states poke fun at their rural lifestyle in much the same way as others do West Virginia and other rural areas.

Generally it's all in good fun -I'm willing to bet for example that this "Yooper Assault Rifle" was designed and built by a Yooper- but can be contentious or insulting depending on the circumstances...

  2. That's interesting, as I assumed it was someone's last name. I can't figure out how you load it......?

  3. Muzzle-loader... Don't you recognize the nipple for a percussion cap, or the back-blast on the hammer?

    Starting to worry about you...

  4. :) My friend Tom would as he is a skirmisher, but all I've ever fired was an 1852 Maynard which I really liked. You can buy new ones now, but they are over $3K and the originals are cheaper which I would rather have anyway. Actually I'm lusting after a Henry Big Boy .44 magnum now.

Apparently it's the work of one "fuzzbean" on a "homemade firearms forum" - I've hour to look that up!

I thought you were really big into The War Of Northern Aggression & thus figured you'd know what a percussion-cap nipple looked like...

I did reenactments in HS - 2nd MD Infantry, CSA...

  10. Pretty damn cool man.. I'd like to see someone shoot it though and measure the penetration before I went to ACE and made one myself... Great find though.

Less is more. Our lace wedding dresses best interpret the concept of amber-like purity by highlighting nothing but the texture of sheer fabrics. Close-fitted dresses in fine structured physique inspire the thought of Grecian beauty wedding dresses 2012, together with the air of hope and confidence towards life ooze out. Just release yourself from the dazzling complexity and all lost in simplicity.
