    If the convert-metric-to-English site I used is right, 12.7 mm == 0.50000000000054 inches.

    So it's BASICALLY a 50-cal, right?

    Though I gotta wonder how many decimal-places the BATFEces use when determining the difference between a rifle and a DD...

    After all, 0.50000000000054 *IS* technically "over one half inch in diameter", and they're not exactly known for being easy to get along with, unless you're a big drug cartel shopping for AK CLONES.....

    :) Yes, I believe in one article they mentioned .50 cal.
