September 27, 2011 - TAMPA, FL - In a bizarre twist of fate, a growing movement of New York City Police Department officers are banding together with the Occupy Wall Street movement, while the main stream media continues to relatively ignore this escalating event.
The Occupy Wall Street movement issued the following statement on their website:
"Today we received unconfirmed reports that over one hundred blue collar police refused to come into work in solidarity with our movement. These numbers will grow. We are the 99 percent. You will not silence us."
There is a video that has been widely circulated showing an apparent felonious assault by a police officer on a woman who has committed no offense and is peacefully protesting. He sprays her in the face with a can of pepper spray, completely unprovoked.
This is a clearly-documented, on video, act of felonious assault. Were you or I to do this we would be facing a felony charge for our actions. No less is acceptable for this individual.
It appears that not only are (if reports are correct) 100 or more officers refusing to participate in felonies against peaceful citizens, the media is now getting involved too, and not on the side of the cops and banksters either.

Lawrence O'Donnell is about as far removed from my view on politics (although I am certainly willing to appear on his show, having done so before) as one can be, but when you're right, you're right irrespective of one's political views.TO NYC: ARREST, INDICT AND TRY EACH AND EVERY POLICE OFFICER INVOLVED IN THIS FELONIOUS VIOLENCE.
NOTHING ELSE IS ACCEPTABLE.
F***ing PIGS.
ReplyDeleteI *HATE* O'donnell & everything he stands for.
Even a blind squirrel gets a nut ONCE in a while...
These "Protesters" are The Enemy too - which is why O'Dumbass is as angry as he is.
I don't care. THIS IS AMERICA, G*D-D@MNIT!
At least it USED to be.
