Clinton let Bin Laden go

    The Sudan offered to turn him over to us when we got on them about sheltering him before he decamped back to Afghanistan. Our govt. denies this but "Sudan's minister of defense, Fatih Erwa" has made this claim. The offer was turned down because in 96 there were no outstanding indictments against Bin Laden. There needn't have been an official arrest or a trial.
