Interesting. It also puzzles me. I remember when the Sheriff of Hudspeth County told the citizens to arm themselves. This almost seems cynical by comparison. 'Civil War! So give us money!' (My sister when to Tech, so I know there is a lot of money to be had, at least in some parts of Lubbock County.) I'd also be interested in knowing where this fellow was for the Constitutional Sheriff's convention a while back.
