No use in spending big money for this stuff! I've already done the following with perfect results. Go to your home improvement store such as Lowe's and get you some 6inch black plastic corrugated solid pipe.(No hole type)Usually comes in 25' pieces. Get you some end caps for them. A 25' piece will make 5 storage vaults, 2 caps per pipe. Get at least 1 tube of silicone for each pipe.
You can store 2 to three firearms in each container, plus ammo, cleaning kits and a pistol. Actually the weight becomes more than you can easily manage. Fill up your tube to suit your needs and seal the ends with the caps using silicone.(I did put a moisture absorbing pack in each tube.) You can easily make 5 such vaults with all necessary parts and silicone for less than 50 bux. I kept firearms buried this way for over 5 years, and the firearms stayed in 100% conditions. I'm reusing my tubes.
Not PVC... Not hard plastic. It is the type that is used in cess pool drain lines and landscaping, except it is solid with no drain holes on the side. This is somewhat flexible, though very stiff. It's not smooth either, having rings. Works great and is cheap!
