State Rep. Mary Moore has shown time and again she isn't one to add clarity to a situation.
Remember it was Moore who called Birmingham News/AL.com staffer Marie Leech "retarded" in a public meeting last summer. Despite offending several advocacy groups, Moore didn't apologize for her insensitivity to them or to Leech.
There are plenty of valid criticisms to make about last week's hijacking of the legislative process by Republicans to pass the Alabama Accountability Act. Wouldn't take much work, either. But leave it to Moore to get that simple task wrong, too.
More @ AL
Guess what, folks? Yes, the Republicans ran roughshod over the (formerly) all-powerful Alabama Education Association to pass this, and the usual suspects are up in arms about it.
ReplyDeleteThe elephant in the room is that in Birmingham and other places, black-run schools have been run into the ground...but I guess keeping schools FAILING is more important than admitting that the current crop of administrators are incompetent fools...and would still be incompetent fools if they all turned PLAID tomorrow! It's not about color, folks; it's about competence, or the lack thereof.

DeleteWell said.
I'm sure she has no problem redistributing tax payer money to pay for her community's screwups. You know, for equality.
