Fitting in - The culture the Marxists seek to impose doesn't fit ANY real world with real people, not even the places where they won.  To be "normal" people are going around pretending to believe things that simply aren't so, like that anyone wanting to look after himself and his is "greedy" and must have stolen what he has; that women are physically stronger than men, and more independent in spirit; that children are wiser than their parents; that everyone must have sex all the time, or they'll go mad; that every culture in the world is superior to ours.

[From the video of the night gun fight only, I believe there were more than 200 and then he was probably killed by the vehicle, not the expert marksmanship.:)]
Boston and Watertown police - Our politicians are saying that the most anyone needs to have to protect himself from armed intruders is seven rounds in the magazine. Only seven?! Of course, it took trained police, who were not dealing with an unexpected attack, who were not roused from a peaceful slumber, who were not worried about their wives and kids, some 200 rounds to kill one dangerous man. Makes you wonder if those politicians have even the slightest, tiniest hint of anything connected with the real world, doesn't it?

Liberal scientists so hate western civilization that they manipulate climate data to "prove" that the Industrialized West is contributing to dangerous global warming. ... climate data used to prove global warming were fabricated, fudged, cooked, steamed and sauteed.

art-link-symbol-small-rev01.jpg The imposition of a federal income tax is more than just taking from those who work and earn and giving to those who don't. And it is more than just a spigot to fill the federal trough. At its base, it is a terrifying presumption. It presumes that we don't really own our property. It accepts the Marxist notion that the state owns all the property and the state permits us to keep and use whatever it needs us to have, says Andrew Napolitano in this article, Taxation Is Theft, at Reason.

art-link-symbol-small-rev01.jpg Amnesty for illegal aliens - Why are Republicans collaborating in erecting the scaffolding on which their party is to be hanged? A year ago, the GOP platform declared, "We oppose amnesty because it would have the effect of encouraging illegal immigration and would give an unfair advantage to those who have broken our laws." What has changed since then? asks Pat Buchanan in this article, Will the GOP Embrace Amnesty?, at Patrick Buchanan.

art-link-symbol-small-rev01.jpg Black unemployment - I doubt whether anyone would argue that the reason for lower unemployment, higher labor force participation and shorter duration of unemployment among blacks in the first half of the 20th century was that there was less racial discrimination. I also doubt whether anyone would argue that during earlier periods, blacks had higher education and greater skills attainment than whites. Answers must be sought elsewhere, says Walter Williams in this article, Black Unemployment, at Creators.

art-link-symbol-small-rev01.jpg Researchers argue it's possible to measure the complexity of life and the rate at which it has increased from prokaryotes to eukaryotes to more complex creatures such as worms, fish and finally mammals. That produces a clear exponential increase identical to that behind Moore's Law although in this case the doubling time is 376 million years rather than two years... "Linear regression of genetic complexity (on a log scale) extrapolated back to just one base pair suggests the time of the origin of life = 9.7 ± 2.5 billion years ago," they say. And since the Earth is only 4.5 billion years old, that raises a whole series of other questions, say The Physics arXiv Blog in this article at MIT Technology Review. Don't be put off by the source, it's quite readable.

White guy black supremacist hoped the bomber was a white American - The reason to hope that the bomber is a white American is because in a country where white privilege and double standards so obviously affect our national security reactions, that outcome will better guarantee that the reaction to Boston is a bit more measured. [Alas, reality dashed his hopes. Moslems. Again. Told ya.]

Gold doesn’t pay a dividend, but it doesn’t charge commissions, tell you to buy a garbage stock, back date options, commit accounting fraud, go out of business, get insider information and use it against you, make money taking the other side of your trades, front-run your stock orders, create artificial bids, cause flash crashes, use your funds to bail itself out, blow stock bubbles, manipulate data, control interest rates to benefit the big banks, lie under oath or channel the public’s money into foreign banks.

Boston bombing - Governments squeeze each man-made disaster like a ripe papaya until every drop of sweet advantage can be collected.  They use our fear and confusion as license to attack a predetermined list of targets that may or may not have had anything to do with the original event.  They tell the story in a way that suits their end-line interests, and the last thing they are concerned with is helping the public to "understand".
