Irritated by Starbucks' decision to remain neutral and not ban lawful carry, anti-Second Amendment organizations have developed plans to boycott the chain this Saturday. Dubbing their misguided effort “Skip Starbuck's Saturday” antis hope to punish the brand nationwide.
As
HB 937 is implemented, it will become increasingly important for us to
clearly stand behind restaurants who do not interfere with expanded
carry under state law.
No
support is more clear than doing business with those who cooperate with
us. We need to demonstrate, in a practical way, that standing behind
North Carolina's gun owners is a winning proposition for restaurants.
Inducing failure of this anti-Second Amendment boycott will provide
initial momentum for when HB 937 becomes effective in October.

If my wife drives, and she just said yes, we will be at the Starbucks at Havana and Mississippi avenues, in Aurora CO, at 10 A.M. tomorrow. I can walk 50 feet with a walker but I legally carry devices that are effective for much more distance than that.
ReplyDeleteGood deal! Now your next mission, should you choose to accept it, is to proceed to the Tarheel State NLT 02/10/13!:)
DeleteI love the smell of Starbucks in the morning . Second only to the smell of roasting pork. And there is some difference in one mile and eighteen hundred.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.:)
DeleteWell we went to a non-event. No antis and us the only pros. But it exceeded my walking ability and I only spilled one Grande coffee.
