Five people have been charged with murder in connection with a deadly, drug-related home invasion robbery in Cecil County Tuesday.
The suspects include an Aberdeen man who is in critical condition after exchanging gunfire with the victim of the home invasion, who later died, according to the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say Kenneth Lee Curry, 19, was targeted because the suspects believed his North East home contained drugs and money. He was shot inside his home in the botched robbery and later died, according to the Cecil Whig.
One of the suspects, William L. Dodson, 21, of Rosedale, allegedly
bought illegal drugs at the home, then texted the other suspects, who
came in and ordered everyone in the home to get on the floor.
