Hundreds of people were involved in a pileup on a Wisconsin highway on Sunday morning when 90 or more cars crashed into each other.

According to WISN 2 in Germantown, Wis., the pileup on Highway 41/45 lasted for more than 10 minutes as cars were unable to slow down or stop in the snowy conditions.

  1. I remember my first trip above the line in Feb '99. We were driving through the Penn mountains (I 80?) it was like NASCAR, three wide and doing about 90 bumper to bumper. It started snowing, so I eased off the gas maybe 1 mph and the car behind immediately honked. So, we continued, bumper to bumper, 90 mph, through the mountains, in the snow.

    It was fun, but tense.

  2. Don't surprise me none.

Buncha self-absorbed idiots who are paying attention to their cell phones and in-dash big screen monitors and little else beyond their hood ornaments.

The shit I see every day boggles the mind. I swear...most drivers think they are playing GTA5 when on the road, and they can hit "restart" when they fuck up and all will be fine.

Why is everybody milling about and eye-balling the area when the pileup is still happening?

Had a crash like that happen in Cincinnati last winter. Whiteout conditions and a family in a van decides to get out of the vehicle...probably to do some dumb shit like take video and pictures for YouTube and FaceBook.

The crash keeps-on-a comin', and their 14 year old daughter got cut in half when the cable barrier got creamed by another vehicle and sent the wire flying.

    Stoopid hurts.

    Permanently.

(I've been brake checked by cars more in the last year in my semi than ever before in my 20 years of driving. The last year I've had solid objects thrown at me just for fun and because they could get away with it. I had a guy in a car intentionally swerve in front of me...I guess because he didn't like having to wait five seconds for me to pass another semi. I had to stomp on the binders and swerve away from him to avoid T-boning his passenger side. Last night a was chugging up a hill 3 lanes wide in the middle lane at 65mph+, and this bitch goes around me on the left, pulls in front of me and immediately slows to 50mph. I was like, "WTF?" I attribute most of the above to Ohio. And Indiana meth-heads...)
