Stop the rumor mill and start the presses. Whether due to poor OPSEC or great marketing, the word has been leaking out for a few weeks that Glock will introduce a new .380 ACP version of its ultra popular pistols dubbed the Glock 42. The Shooting Hunting Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show begins January 15th and is the traditional launch point. That being the case, Media Day runs on the 14th and Cheaper Than Dirt! will have its cameras rolling with the first range reviews of the Glock 42 and other popular models.
New models rumored are the Glock 41 and 42. Industry insiders have detailed the Glock 41 as a long slide practical/tactical .45 ACP. This makes sense given the fact that Glock already has the Glock 34 in 9mm and Glock 35 in 40 S&W—both are practical/tactical long slide models. The Glock 41 would round out and balance the offerings.
More @ Cheaper Than Dirt
I see that the MSRP is something like $775. Kind of pricey.
ReplyDeleteThat's too much even though it will go for much less. .380's aren't my speed anyway.
