Global Warming Alert: NC: Minus-3 ties all-time record for Jan. 30

 After making quick work of prepping and clearing streets around town, city workers were able to clear downtown sidewalks, as well.

Thursday morning’s low temperature reading of minus-3 at 7:55 tied the record for the all-time low for the date in Tarboro according to National Weather Service instruments at the Tarboro-Edgecombe County Airport.
