    1. Good one. :) Dixie and I had a snack there once, but weren't impressed. We thought we might try it again to see if it was an irregularity, but not after viewing the sign yesterday after the movies. I poked my head in the door and stated "You're going to lose business with your anti-gun policy."

  4. From a liability standpoint, as of January 2014, any business that doesn't post this is liable for a situation unless posted. So if a drunk pulls a gun off someone with a concealed carry, the bar could get sued for a lot or money if someone was injured. I've spoken with the owners directly, which are definitely not against guns, but can't afford for be sued. After doing some research, WalMart, grocery stores and almost every restuarant you go to have this posted somewhere, even if you cannot see it

    1. Makes sense and I didn't realize that there was no big deal carrying one in such places as Eric pointed out below.

Brock, does Mike Stanley still own the pier? As far as carrying concealed when it's posted not allowed in a business, if they (owner/management) find out you're carrying, all they can do is ask you to leave the premises. If you refuse to do so, they can have you charged with misdemeanor "Simple Trespass". It is NOT a firearms violation.
