Racing across the tarmac, laughing and crying as they ran to embrace him, were his attractive wife Loretta and their four exuberant children. But the happiness was shortlived. Stirm already knew that his wife of 18 years had filed under California's no-fault divorce law, and a few weeks later they parted for good.

More @ Distractify
I hate lawyers and I hate no-fault divorces and I hate guys having to give up so much when they have done nothing wrong. It's pure evil.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness for all those beautiful pictures of people being people - now that I love!

DeleteMe too.:)
Geez - that was way too hostile on my part... sorry about that.
ReplyDeleteNot at all as you have to keep it going in preparation for the lynchings. :)
DeleteHeh! Thanx for that reminder (I am sure there are some lovely lawyers out there, right?) -Was at the hardware store today buying some things I needed for my loom and got another 100' of rope while I was at it. I will have quite a collection by the time I am finished. ;)
ReplyDeleteGoodness, I'll have to pray my trees are up to this. :)
ReplyDeleteYou guys are too funny. :)
ReplyDeleteIs the bitch still living?
I just searched, but am not sure, though it looks like she's dead. Get this: It was illegal to get a divorce from your husband if he was in Vietnam, so once he was going to be released, she did it and he received this three days before he came home while in transit. She should have gotten Death By 1,000 Cuts.
DeleteIf nothing else, it can be used to practice making those special slip knots ;)
ReplyDelete:)
DeleteNo, she isn't - just found this obituary from 2010:

Thanks and the bitch got only one comment. I checked opening the book to mention how I really felt, but it costs dinero. Might be worth it though. Wonder if it is censored?
DeleteCancer is what got her, so there were at least a few cuts before it was over.
ReplyDeleteTalking about no class, she couldn't t even wait until he got home to break it to him.
DeleteI am sure you are not alone in wanting to add something more accurate to the "book." No doubt it is censored for that reason. How I wish that photo could be fixed to erase her out of it, and just the kids are running to their Dad. Then maybe he could feel better about having it out to look at - breaks my heart...
ReplyDelete& she actually looks happy. What a despicable individual.
DeleteYes, pure Photo Op smile- mighty low - and let us not forget to add her new hubby to the list of despicables.
ReplyDeleteYes, he is retired military as I remember.
DeleteI really don’t care about the bitch she made her own hell. I did take the time to look at all the pictures. I found one particularly thought provoking. It was the picture of the child dressed in a KKK outfit. There he stood looking at his reflection in the riot shield without any sense of hatred. While the three police two of which were black simply looked at the child as any concerned parent or grandparent might. I guess in some ways I am just stupid. I cannot comprehend how you can hate another person just for the color of their skin, religion or anything without a reason. Now I can hate people because of their beliefs or actions but I must have a reason. Other wise I am at most just indifferent. You have to be pretty special for me to waste my hate on you. Take President Obama I do not hate him. I disagree with him and everything he stands for but I cannot hate him. I will take his ideas and policies to task and criticize him vehemently but I will not hate him.
ReplyDeleteBadger
a I do not hate him
DeleteI guess I would go with despise.
