  1. Love the slo' mo' -- thought it was over in a few minutes but then saw that it continued on for another five....like that drop-in replacement cartridge full and ready to go - is that something that has always been available?

    1. It's a speed loader and I've certainly had no luck with dropping them in like that, but I imagine he's practiced just a tad more than I have. :)

      Here's video.

    1. Yes, and you have a revolver that you're bringing, as I remember.

  3. No, I have that Bersa Firestorm - I may have a revolver by the time I come to PATCON - have to go try out that Ruger you showed me. Mom is going back home tomorrow, so I will be able to spend more time on this next week.

    1. That's good that she is close to your brother. I certainly will fight to the death to be put in one though. :) I checked again and they do make a revolver.

  5. Now that is a cool little revolver - looks like something fairly new to the collection.
Mom lived alone in a little house in the country until a few years ago, but then she failed her eye test and lost her driver's license, which was the game changer - What upsets her most is losing her car and not where she lives (she's glad someone else is cooking for her) - my brother looks after her very well. If I lived up there, she would be with me, but she doesn't like it down here except to visit.

    1. Is one place in the country and one in the city?

  6. The little farm town where she used to live has less than 400 people, BUT also, Michigan's oldest operating race track - so pretty busy & noisy in the summer. The "big" city she lives in now has about 2,800 people and is a popular tourist destination due to its location on Lake Huron. Battle Creek has 52,000 souls and lots of cereal. ;)

    1. I see, thanks. I grew up in Marshall, Virginia from 5 until Vietnam which was called Salem during the War with a population of 600. Just fine and dandy as far as I was concerned. Today we have a population of a horrendous 1,500 and those extra culprits should be shot on sight! :)

  7. You made me smile on that one - if I don't stay exactly where I am right now, then I would be one of those "extra culprits" - crikey! (I like the small towns just fine.)
