Despite popular belief, every culture of
every nation draws a line in the sand against government tyranny. The
problem is, many draw this line so close to total defeat that it rarely
matters. For the Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto, for instance, it wasn't
until the Germans had already herded millions onto railroad cars
destined for death camps and cornered the rest into dilapidated central
housing that the ZOB resistance was formed, only to be wiped out a month
later. Perhaps hindsight is 20/20, but clearly too many freedom
movements throughout history waited too long to respond to the
trespasses of oligarchs.
I believe the same feeling hangs in the air of modern America for REAL Americans, and by “real”, I mean those who actually support and defend the constitutional values and principles that lay at the foundation of our society. We sense that something is coming; a great change, or an unstoppable reckoning.
The question of when to strike back is pivotal to any resistance movement.

This is exactly correct, but the correct response, at least in my reckoning, is to try to change things by law. But with the effort to swamp the electorate with third worlders, this may not be possible any longer. The next three years or so should tell the tale.

DeleteI fully agree, unfortunately. The only other option I think would be secession of some of the most conservative states and/or counties from states. There is no way we will ever get back to being anywhere near of like mind. I'm sure leaving Dixie with a disaster.
the feds got what they wanted info, amout of time for people to start showing up,the number of people, how well were the people armed, this was just a test!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Patriots got experience also.
DeleteI think this is one of the most important statements in the article.
ReplyDelete“The U.S. political system is utterly lost. Anyone who still has faith in the Left/Right paradigm after two terms of George W. Bush and nearly two terms of Barack Obama is either insane, or mentally challenged. It should be obvious to Republicans and Democrats alike that our government does NOT represent the average man, and our election process is a sham. Democrats in particular should be equally furious and ashamed as the candidate they blindly worshiped to the point of cultism has now forsaken every value they thought he represented.”

DeleteThey know no honor.
And that word timing is the KEY word. How many of us wanted the 2nd American Revolution after Ruby Ridge or Waco? As I see it now, the only reason and MAIN reason that the BLM backed down was because they could not find any auction house within economical distance that would accept the cattle with the Bundy brand, and no, this was not the time either. I do applaud those that showed up and made a stand, but again, this was not the time.
ReplyDeleteWhen the time does arrive, this will be when every body knows. It can't be defined or described. Just as the late Potter Stewart, US Supreme Cort Judge once said of the definition of pornography, "that hard core pornography was hard to define, But I'll know it when I see it"

DeleteWell said.
The worse comment was about the govt flying drones around the area to take detail pics of people and weapons. They should have everything under camo tarps.
ReplyDeleteI think they wanted to be clearly noticed. The old finger in your eye, tyrant.
DeleteI have to disagree - it is probably much more correct to say that Real Americans (aka Citizens) are simply sick and tired of the ongoing abuses of what is daily turning into an ever more abusive 'government' and are simply no longer willing to accept it anymore. It is that abusive gummint that has long ago 'snapped' - it ain't (and won't be) us.

DeleteAgreed.
I'd say this will go down in history as a "Powder Alarm" such as happened in 1774 and 1775 the first times General Gage sent British troops out of Boston to seize Colonial powder and military supplies. Of course; the final 'Powder Alarm' turned into something else on April 19th 1775 when the Redcoats marched on Concord...
ReplyDeleteThat faint sound you hear is William Diamond's drum beating an unforgotten call to arms.
