Gun Company Lays Off Workers As Obama Administration Blocks Re-importation Of The Rifle That Won World War II

General George S. Patton recognized the .30-’06 M1 Garand semi-automatic rifle as “the greatest battle implement ever devised,” and the rifle accompanied American Marines and soldiers up the beaches of Normandy against the Germans, across the islands of the Pacific against the Japanese, and through the brutal cold of the Korean winter. It served America as our primary battle rifle through two wars, and is still prized today by collectors and shooters for itls timeless design and reliability.

Now Century Arms International is having to lay off workers because the Obama Administration has refused to allow these pieces of American history to be re-imported from South Korea.

  1. Sad thing is - they don't want communist arms here either.. You'd figure a sickle and hammer would make everything safe for ak imports ect..

  2. What the evil gun grabbing idiots do not or will not understand is that the 30-06 is THE all purpose hunting round. And if a company manufactures rifles there will be one in 30-06. Personally I think they know that, but they are doing just to be A--holes.

That's all I can figure out also as it makes 0 sense to ban these, but still allow the most modern ones. Typical liberal logic, of which there is none, of course.
