Notes from the Drains: What Cops Really Do

 http://www.adn.com/sites/default/files/styles/ad_slideshow_940/public/071813-PoliceDucks.jpg?itok=-Z7ivfal

The police are out of control all across the country. They can kick in your door at three al.m., shoot your dog, and handcuff your daughters, and you have no recourse. All of this happens with the explicit, intentional help of the federal government. There is nothing to be said for them, police or government.

That having been noted, it might be interesting to look at the world as seen by a normal cop from before the budding of the dictatorship.

To that end, let us suppose that you, the reader, are an average white cop in, say, Washington, DC. Let us further agree that you are not swatted-out, do not have ninja fantasies. You are not evil and do not want to hurt anyone. Evil cops exist, but you are not one of them. You are just a real cop in the real city—not the city as imagined by the humid orchids who write editorials at the New York Times.
How will the world seem to you, a new cop just out of the Academy?

  1. I was going to post something recently regardong cop behavior after talking to a cop who works in a majority white area. How dealing w/ the dregs of society works on your psyche. Had similar conversation w/ a landlord of many rental properties. How "slumlords" come about bevause the clientelle they mostly rent to are parasitic vermin.

Results of LBJ's poverty program. Pur country has been destroyed from within

Yes, Sir and I have no doubt if I was working in the bad section of a big city, I would become hardened. Don't see how it could affect you any other way.

    2. Not in an urban area. Decades of decay by death from unionization killing jobs.
Try and work w the people when they can't pay rent and they take advantage. Dont report leaks leading to major water damage . No $$ to fix problem because they weren't paying rent. Vicious circle. Cops dealing w. Same offenders because they have nothing else to do but get in trouble.

  2. Last night on some show I was watching, don't remember now which one, they were
talking about that Ferguson mess and a guy explained something that got my attention. He said that while we hear so much about cops being militarized these days that it is actually just the SWAT squads that it's happening with. Most of the other cops are now being restricted on what activities they can carry out. Such mundane activities as serving a normal every day warrant have been taken away
from the average cop and turned over to SWAT.

Now it makes sense. The SWAT teams are the bad boys, specially selected and trained up as the FEDs want meanwhile the good guy cops are not allowed to do their job.

    2. That doesnt explain how and why when being pulled over for traffic violations some incite by aggressive and and inflammatory behavior .as if they want you to strike or get violent. Raised voices result in an extra disorderly conduct charge. More$ for the state I know.

Also pullovers resulting in cops shooting at cars full of kids. Or assaulting and killing adults who do not comply . Not comply w/ unConstitutional demands.

  3. Serving a warrant is a good opportunity kick in a door and maybe kill somebody. Got to save that for big O's boys. I forgot my moniker on the first post.
