League of Women Voters Targeting Florida Gun Shops

 Inside a Florida gun shop

In a move they say is meant to make the world a safer place, the League of Women Voters (LOWV)
has begun visiting gun shops throughout the state of Florida in hopes of finding violations of a Florida statute requiring retail gun sellers to post signs “at each purchase counter,” which reads like so:

IT IS UNLAWFUL TO STORE OR LEAVE A FIREARM IN ANY PLACE WITHIN THE REACH OR EASY ACCESS OF A MINOR UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE OR TO KNOWINGLY SELL OR OTHERWISE TRANSFER OWNERSHIP OR POSSESSION OF A FIREARM TO A MINOR OR A PERSON OF UNSOUND MIND.

  1. Another gaggle of nosey, busy-bodies who have way too much free time on their hands. They are a group of people who I have contempt for, people who will not leave other people alone. What the gun store owners ought to do is put up a sign reading that members of LOWV are not welcomed and their presence inside the store will considered to be trespassing on private property.

Send them an email as I'm sure they'd go for it! :)

  2. The gun shops shouldn't let any LOWV near the displays or counter since they are obviously deranged !

  4. Heretical thought of the day; could it be that granting women the right to vote was a mistake? With the LOWV, we have a gaggle of know-things who are looking for some to find fault with, and there by manufacture a problem where none exists. They want to treat those around them as if they were small child who need their mommy to take care of them. Lastly it was due to the woman's vote that this country was punished and cursed with Carter, Clinton, and now antiChrist Obama.
