LAPD on Tactical Alert After Two Men Attempt Assassination of Police Officers

Roundabout via Joe

By my rough estimate this is the sixth recent assassination attempt on random police officers:
  1. Saint Louis – MO,
  2. New York – NY,
  3. Tampa – FL,
  4. Miami – FL
  5. Durham – NC, and now Los Angeles – CA
Update: 6:00am PST Second shooter evades capture - A Los Angeles Police Department patrol car was fired on in an “unprovoked attack” Sunday night that put police officers around the city on tactical alert.

  1. And Flagstaff Arizona

    Kerry in Carefree

  2. What LA going broke? That is at least a late 90's Ford Crown Vic. You can't tell me they are driving old dinosaurs. False flag anyone? Front license plate got shot off too?

    1. I searched and did come up wot their cars having and not having front license plates. Also, some older models, so I don;t know.

  3. It is sad that it has come to this, however the law enforcement community in this country has no one to blame but themselves. Yes I realize that they have a tough job to do and sometimes only have a split second to make a life or death decision and I certainly wouldn’t want to be in their shoes day after day. But with the advent of the internet, the 24 hour news cycle and independent reporting we now have access to information we did not have in the past and the ugly underbelly of law enforcement has come to light.

All too often of late we have been witness to cops behaving badly….for whatever reason with injurious and sometimes fatal results to INNOCENT lives. THEY have created this toxic environment for themselves.

Good cops don’t report misbehavior for fear of retaliation and along with the police unions, departments, district attorneys, judges and court system form a protective circle around the miscreants. In most cases little or no justice is served. What type of behavior does this engender when the officer knows he can get off scott free or with a slap on the wrist. They all have in essence become aiders and abettors this misbehavior. Couple that with the us or them attitude that permeates their culture and they have truly divorced themselves from the rest of us. AUTHORITAH!

Right now they are experiencing the tip of the iceberg should things really go sideways in this country as they seem to be doing. Only the criminal element is currently taking potshots at the po-po. Mike Vanderbough of the Sipsey Street Irregulars blog said it best in his open letter to American LEO. It is worth a read.

He basically concludes that with the numbers the gangs alone can bring to bear, you, Mr. LEO are severely outnumbered. Now we….the law abiding, Constitution minded folks in this country can be your best friend and ally in this….or your worst enemy. You all look alike to us right now and we cannot distinguish the good cop from the bad, and in a true belly up life or death situation…..well, make an intelligent guess.

    Time to choose.

    1. Good cops don’t report misbehavior

That's the whole problem, for if they did, it would put a brake on illegal actions.

  4. Well said, these incidents are not happening in a vacuum. For the last 20 years or longer the police have worked to build deeply ingrained resentment toward them. I support the police but that support is not unconditional. For 20 years, the police have moved from friendly Sheriff Andy of Mayberry into an occupying army. We are no longer considered a civilian population we are now enemy combatants and the police have become an occupying army. Their goal is to subdue and neutralize not protect and serve.

    1. The small town ones seem to still be fine. At least the ones I have come in contact with.

  5. This is exactly why I read FNC for my news Brock vets his news and works hard to get the truth out! Thanks Brock!

    1. Thanks for your kind words, but today I've spent all day driving to and from the VA for my simple yearly "freeze off the potential skin cancer". They pay me $120 for the trip and I could get someone to do this near home for that. What a waste of a day.
