A weekly call to prayer for Muslims will be heard at Duke University starting Friday, school officials said.

Members of the Duke Muslim Students Association will chant the call, known as adhan or azan, from the Duke Chapel bell tower each Friday at 1 p.m. The call to prayer will last about three minutes and be “moderately amplified,” officials said in a statement Tuesday.

  3. Leave it to the Methodists to be sooooo accommodating. Allowing this to happen from the CHRISTIAN chapel belltower - one more declaration of victory for Islam over the Infidel. Why not five times a day as prescribed for good muslims? All in good time, my pretties! Here is what the Call to Prayer says:

Allah is Most Great. Allah is Most Great.
Allah is Most Great. Allah is Most Great.
I bear witness that there is none worthy of being worshipped except Allah.
I bear witness that there is none worthy of being worshipped except Allah.
I bear witness that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah.
I bear witness that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah.
Come to prayer. Come to prayer.
Come to Success. Come to Success.
Allah is Most Great. Allah is Most Great.
There is none worthy of being worshipped except Allah.
    Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar.
    Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar.
    Ash-hadu an la ilaha ill-Allah.
    Ash-hadu an la ilaha ill-Allah.
    Ash-hadu anna Muhammad-ar-Rasoolullah.
    Ash-hadu anna Muhammad-ar-Rasoolullah.
    Hayya 'alas-Salah. Hayya 'alas-Salah.
    Hayya 'alal-falah. Hayya 'alal-falah.
    Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar.
    La ilaha ill-Allah.

    1. Most leftist simpletons do not realize, or refuse to face the fact, that islam preaches the conquering of enemies. These people think that if they let muslims know that they like them, then the muslims will not kill them...

  4. You do realize that the time has come
to personally resolve these situations, to take matters
in hand, to boot stomp any and all naive illusions
of civil compromise, petitions, symbolic protests and
    calling politicians to complain.
What a bunch of delusional shit.
I know how this is going to play out, muslim prayer calls
will sound from a Christian Chapel bell tower.
    Each week, every week.
    Suck it.
    Reap it.
For those to stupid to realize, the precedent was
set when muslims were allowed to pray in
a Christian house of worship in dc.
Allowing that and allowing this will is the death
knell of our Constitutional Republic of states.
It's the completion of our cowardice, our worthlessness
and our delusional belief that freedom from our enslavement,
from a merciless police state, for the crimes and treason
of the ruling communists can be achieved solely by prepping
for to survive economic collapse and/or a zombie apocalypse,
all the while glutton consuming cable tv, internet porn and fantasy
    blogging.
We just don't add up to dry shit.

    1. Agree wholly. It was the Episcopal National Cathedral in DC. Absolutely appalling.

  6. It's the Duke (Methodist) Blue Devils Call to Muslim Prayers. There's nothing peculiar about that, is there?

  7. Where is the Nativity Scene then? More importantly; where are those familiar loud voices that would come crawling out of the woodwork if there Were a nativity scene?
    Their silence is deafening.

  8. I am slack-jawed in disbelief, but after the lacrosse witch hunt maybe I shouldn't be. at Harvard yeah, but Duke??? I am wondering how in the hell they got this through the ACLU, atheists, militant feminists, etc. none of these groups are turning purple/ screaming separation of church and state?? this is beyond scary, it's spooky... And I live in the people's republic of California where we expect this sort of stupidity...

  9. Find your local mosque, go there on Friday at 1 p,m,, demand to read the Bible's scripture over their loudspeaker.
That should be fine according to the leftist admin at Duke.

  10. Really, no one in that AO has any plans to protest this sharia shit?

  11. Franklin Graham has his say but not loud enough. Where are the Christian Soldiers.
Responding to the news, Rev. Franklin Graham said the controversial move is hypocritical and represents a double standard, since “Christianity is being excluded from the public square.”

Rev. Graham also charged that the practice promotes a religion in whose name followers are “raping, butchering, and beheading Christians, Jews, and anyone who doesn’t submit to their Sharia Islamic law.

    1. A partial victory?
They will still be holding muslim prayer services
in the "basement" of the church.
      I call bullshit on that.
Without question, that is a lie to cover
that their "prayers" are going to be held
      in the main chapel.
      Basement my ass!

    2. Evidently they have been holding them in the basement for quite some while.

    3. After reading some local coverage
of this, nothing has changed at Duke.
There is no partial victory, there is
      absolutely no victory.
The call to prayer for a pedophile rapist
is also still going to occur.
The only so called "change" is that
it will now take place outside adjacent
      to the Chapel.
Local, local, local, in your AO my ass!
      Lose, losing. lost.
      Yeah, that's what it is.
