Sarah Palin on New GOP Majority: ‘It’s Not Just the New England Patriots Who Are Dealing with Deflated Balls’

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin declined to speculate on a potential 2016 run Thursday at the 2015 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, but she did offer the GOP some free political advice. We caught up with Palin as she was promoting the second season of her show, “Amazing America,” which airs on the Sportsman Channel Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.

“I’m not going to talk politics except to say the GOP had better go on offense. Man, they are not going to win any game on defense,” she told TheBlaze. “Being in the majority there in D.C. — we’re blowing it if we just bend our back.”

She added, “That GOP leadership, that establishment, they’ve got to get their stuff together. I love what they believe in, I believe in it too. But they’ve got to get tough, man. You know what? It’s not just the New England Patriots who are dealing with deflated balls right now.”

  1. The headline made me cackle out loud, but really, enough is enough. Sarah, I cannot take anyone seriously who continues to give a false cover for these traitors (aka, RINO establishment). To make an excuse that this is just a matter of gutlessness and lack of testosterone, obscures the reality. Just as our PINO is actively working for the Enemy, so is our Republican Congress members . They have not done one thing to effectively stop this country from going over the cliff. Songs & Dances, yes - Adults acting in the best interest of the Country, NO, not at all. Not for a long time.

  2. So this either makes Palin gutless for not calling them out for what really is going on, or she doesn't believe that is any more than gutlessness, which makes her a tool as well.

  3. Then when someone comes along who should be supported, he gets treated like a dog for fighting back. Such as with this man, who clearly has not been neutered and should not be ignored by those who say they are anti-establishment:

  4. I finally agree about a third party- the RINO Establishment will balk mightily at a name change to the Pontius Pilate Party so that we can keep the name Republican.
How about the United Conservative Party?

    1. I have always liked the Jeffersonian-Democrat party similar to Paleo conservatism.

  5. and classic liberalism, too -- that would blow their minds - Jefferson honored and the Democrats lose their name to the other side... and confuse everybody. I like it!
