Denmark on edge as 2nd shooting within hours rocks capital

Denmark Shots

Police say one of three people shot outside a synagogue in Copenhagen has died in the second of two shootings within hours that rocked the Danish capital.

Police spokesman Allan Wadsworth-Hansen says it's still not clear whether that shooting is linked to an earlier shooting that killed one person and wounded three police officers in a suspected terror attack on a free speech event.

  1. We might hope that the Danes of the 21st century have the courage of those of the 20th. When the SS decreed that all the Jews in Denmark most were the yellow Star of David the Royal family marched out of the palace wearing the Star. The general population soon followed their example. As a result many of the Danish Jews population escaped "deportation to the east".

  3. JWMJR, I remember reading about what the King of Denmark did to thwart the Nazis - he would be very ashamed at what his successors have done in the name of PC or whatever. Greenfield has a good response here:
