The media claim of “automatic weapons” or “machine guns” is always to be discounted until positively affirmed beyond the shadow of a doubt by firearms experts (not law enforcement public information officers), simply based on how difficult it is to obtain automatic weapons in the United States.
What we do have is two separate images that appear to show long guns recovered at the scene. We’ve taken part of the image above and flipped it vertically below in an effort to better determine what we’re looking at.

DeleteAs reported it would seem the officer on scene responded with all the efficiency and deadliness the modern American LEO system can represent. He reacted quickly, efficiently and with utter deadliness. The two jihadists had virtually no chance.
ReplyDeleteBut we must remember. This officer is a cog in a wheel, a piece of a massive machine. A well trained, well oiled highly functional tool and in this instance he
displayed the results of all that time and money spent on training and experience.
The only problem is this officer would with a virtual certainty do the EXACT SAME THING to American citizens if ordered to do so. And he would do it with the exact
same level of efficiency and speed. The system has created some truly capable
killers. The problem is the control mechanism is at best suspect.
